Great photography
Today I had a very scary dream and woke up at 3 AM. At that time, I felt a bit sick. I had a headache and was a little sweaty. At the same time, the temperature at home felt quite high. Because of that, I couldn’t fall asleep for some time. However, I had already started to feel the headache around 11 PM, and apparently it continued until 3 AM. I’m sure of that.
In the morning, when I woke up, I felt 100% healthy. I didn’t have a headache anymore and I wasn’t sweating; I felt comfortable. So I did my morning routine and went to the village. There, I had some tasks to do with my uncle. I had also promised to show what I bought yesterday, but I decided not to show everything. It was just some plumbing tools. I delivered them and explained everything to my uncle. After that, he will be able to install them himself.
Today is January 1st, so the New Year has officially begun. For me, this day was quite usual, but I still started the year in a productive way. I woke up at 9 a.m., even though I went to bed at 2 a.m. As soon as I got out of bed, I got dressed and went straight to the bathroom. I didn’t want to stay in bed and waste time. I felt energized and had several plans for the day, so I decided to follow my morning routine and start the day properly. When I woke up, I noticed the weather through the window. The sun was shining, and the temperature was around -10 degrees. However, the wind was strong enough to sweep snow across the road. Later, during my evening walk along the embankment, I clearly felt how the cold wind penetrated through the hood of my jacket.
Today I woke up a bit late, around 8:45 AM. Because of that, my morning was fast and busy. However, I still managed to finish my morning routine on time and had an opportunity to join our morning meeting. The meeting was without the team lead because he was absent until around 2–3 PM, so the deputy team lead was responsible during that time. During the meeting, the deputy team lead mostly wanted to have casual conversations, but the lead developer started asking questions about tasks and discussing them. Eventually, we got involved in work-related topics. Honestly, the meeting didn’t last long — about twenty minutes in total — but we could have used that time just to relax and take a short break from work worries.
Yesterday I mentioned the New Year event from my previous workplace. Today I was informed about the exact time it would take place, but unfortunately it turned out to be inconvenient for me. The event is scheduled for December 24, after the working day, so I decided not to participate. However, they also changed the venue. Initially, they planned to hold it in a restaurant, but in the end they rented a house. Honestly, the house would have been more convenient for me. In a house, there are fewer chances of meeting a tamada or a similar host. In addition, while I was working there, I had already participated in events held in rented houses, so I can say that I had positive experiences without any worries.
Today I was supposed to start rinsing my mouth with chlorhexidine 0.05% because my dentist wrote about it in the prescription. However, when I tried it, I noticed that the operated area started to ache a little. I also noticed that my swelling seemed to increase slightly. I’m not completely sure about this, and I have some doubts — maybe it was just my imagination or it happened spontaneously. So I decided not to use chlorhexidine for a few days to observe the situation. If everything is fine over the next few days, I will try it again. If something happens, I plan to discuss it with my dentist.
In the prescription, the dentist wrote that I should use it three times after meals. The first time I used it after lunch, the second time around 3 PM, and the third time I planned to use it after dinner, which is my last meal of the day. However, I skipped the last time and didn’t use it. Now the operated area doesn’t hurt. Even this morning and during the first part of the day, I felt that the swelling was smaller than yesterday or had even disappeared. I also stopped taking antibiotics — today was the last day.
It was the last day of my weekend, and I spent it as productively as possible. Yesterday I went to bed around 12 a.m., then I woke up at 3 a.m., and in the morning I woke up again at 9 a.m. In total, I slept 9 hours and 30 minutes. It’s my new record here. I don’t remember sleeping that long since I arrived in Russia. Yesterday night I started to feel a headache. I thought it might be because of a fever, but fortunately, in the morning I felt good. During the day, I also felt fine, even though I went for a walk at –15 degrees. Today the temperature was very low, and it felt like –20 to –25 degrees, according to my relatives. However, when I went for a walk, I felt cold, but I can’t say it was extremely cold. It was fresh, walkable winter weather. Even my car engine started without any problems, although the battery is already old and a bit discharged.
My day, as usual, started with my morning routine, and it happened to be my weekend. After that, I made something to eat and started watching my American show. I have been watching it every day for about six months now, and I’ve developed a very useful habit. I don’t even remember a day when I missed it. This habit is really helpful because it allows me to practice my English skills, and it helps me a lot. Also, this morning and day were so sunny. I couldn’t believe that after non-stop rainy days, such a beautiful sunny day could come. It was completely unpredictable — I hadn’t even checked the weather forecast. So I couldn’t resist going for a walk.
Today is Friday, November 14, and I woke up just ten minutes before work. As soon as I opened my eyes, I noticed how the sun was shining outside and filling my room with warm light. The sky was also deeply blue, and this combination made me happy and gave me a great mood for the whole day. After I checked my phone, I decided to get up and open the windows because it was an iconic, beautiful day that felt like it was welcoming me. While I was doing my morning routine, my room quickly filled with fresh, cold air. It felt like a powerful opportunity to start my day and finish it successfully.
My city was deeply covered in fog. When I got up from my bed and looked out the window, I could only see the tops of the trees and nothing else. But near me, everything was clear — I could see up to about one kilometer. The hill, however, was completely covered, and everything looked white. If I went there, I would slowly disappear into the fog, and nobody would be able to find me. It was a foggy day that brought me unforgettable feelings because I don’t see such weather very often. Around midday, the fog started to fade a bit but didn’t disappear completely. Even at 2 PM, the hill was still blurry and unclear. Then, around 4 PM, the fog grew stronger again, and the hill disappeared once more.
The last few days, the weather hasn’t made me happy because it’s been raining every day, the sky covered with clouds, and the temperature has been low, around 2–5 degrees. Today, when I got up from bed, I noticed the weather from my window. Outside, it was raining and cold, and I even heard the wind blowing against my windows. It was just a typical autumn day, with the trees covered in a golden blanket, and some trees had already lost their leaves. But I didn’t decide to be sad. I got up, dressed, and went to the bathroom to complete my morning routine. After as usual, I ate my breakfast, watched my American show, and then started my work.
This morning was as usual, so there’s nothing interesting to share about it. Instead, I’ll tell you about the weather and my strange dream with the former U.S. president. Let’s start with the weather. Yesterday I wrote about how bad it was and how I planed to leave. But early this morning, when I looked out the window, I saw the sun and a clear sky. It made me really happy because I could go for a walk during my lunch break. The weather stayed nice all day — even though some clouds appeared, there was no rain. The sun didn’t give up; from time to time it shone through the clouds and brought a cheerful mood.
Even though the day was cloudy, I decided to go for a bike ride because I didn’t want to spend my weekend at home. I didn’t bring my GoPro, though, because I’ve already filmed all the interesting places. Another reason is that the GoPro doesn’t record very well when the weather isn’t good enough. So I rode my bike for more than four hours today. For about thirty minutes, I just read Reddit and relaxed — it was a new experience for me, reading Reddit and practicing English in the fresh air. During my ride, I also met one of my classmates. The last time I saw him was at our graduation event, which was more than ten years ago!
