Today I spent a pretty good day and successfully finished my work week
Today is Friday, November 14, and I woke up just ten minutes before work. As soon as I opened my eyes, I noticed how the sun was shining outside and filling my room with warm light. The sky was also deeply blue, and this combination made me happy and gave me a great mood for the whole day. After I checked my phone, I decided to get up and open the windows because it was an iconic, beautiful day that felt like it was welcoming me. While I was doing my morning routine, my room quickly filled with fresh, cold air. It felt like a powerful opportunity to start my day and finish it successfully.
My work started as usual with our morning meeting. We greeted each other warmly and discussed our work issues. If we are lucky, someone shares something interesting or funny, especially if our team lead is in a good mood. After the meeting, I got a new task and started working on it. But this time I got a bit stuck. Even though the task wasn’t very difficult, I got confused by my own thoughts. So I decided to ask our team lead for help. I texted him on Telegram, and he immediately explained everything. After that, everything became clear. My main confusion was about orders and positions. I thought positions were the same as orders, but they aren’t. Positions are created after the order is created.
After my workday, I decided to relax and forget about the day’s worries. While I was having dinner, I started watching the movie Groundhog Day. I watched about half of it, until the moment when Phil decides to steal the groundhog. I decided to finish the movie tomorrow during lunch. Instead of continuing, I lay down and read my favorite topics on Reddit. I usually read about casual daily life, Europe and Baltic countries, how people from these countries are happy when Russian citizens can’t get Schengen visas, and other interesting topics. While I was lying there, I felt sleepy, and the weather outside was good, so I decided to go for a walk. I walked around the center of my city and enjoyed the evening.
