My hands are literally itching to share this… how I skipped part of my work today
Kazan Kremlin, Spasskaya Tower. Photo taken inside the front yard

Today the weather was sunny, and it was a busy day. After my morning meeting, I couldn’t start my work tasks. Instead of working on my tasks, I worked on my own personal tasks. I can explain what happened, but first, I want to say what I did with my blog. I finished the text for my “About Me” page and will publish it soon. Second, I started exploring the Google Maps API because I want to update a map to show my flight routes. I hope it will be very interesting and interactive.

One funny moment from my walk and relaxing at home
Agricultural Palace. This place is very interesting and beautiful, especially at night, because the building is decorated with lights and looks stunning

Today my morning started at 10 AM because yesterday I was very tired. So today I decided to sleep a little longer and regain some energy. I also had special plans for this day. I wanted to update a few pages of my blog and spend the whole day at home. I honestly don’t even remember the last time I spent my weekend at home. I just wanted to stay inside, relax slowly, and enjoy the weekend without any worries. Everything went exactly as I planned, and I spent my day peacefully.

Today I visited my village again and updated my blog
Kazan Kremlin, near the Spasskaya Tower, with an awesome sunset above the city

This morning started very early because I went to my village. I drove my relatives there, and they continued on to another village with my uncle. I can’t name each of my relatives’ villages, but I can say they are in the Kukmor district. They went because there was a Muslim memorial meal (we have a tradition called “koren ashy”), where a mullah or sometimes an abystay (a respected elder woman) comes to recite Quranic prayers (dua). Our relatives spent the whole day there, but my sister, aunt, and I stayed at home.

I've been checking the Spain visa site all day for an appointment
The Kazanka River can be seen from the Kazan Kremlin. There’s also a very comfortable and interesting embankment near the river

This day started with checking visa appointments. When I woke up, I immediately checked all chats about the Spain visa to see what had happened and whether there was any news about appointments or other updates. It’s very important for me, so I keep waiting for new appointments. I also checked a Telegram chatbot that tracks appointments and shows which ones are available. After that, I manually checked the visa site for Kazan city, and I kept checking it throughout the day. However, today there were no available appointments in other cities either. The Telegram bot only sent messages about empty appointments in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Minsk.

The weather surprised me, and the Spain visa center opened appointments for Moscow and St. Petersburg
Krk Piramida hosts concerts, events, and other activities. I’ve never been inside the Piramida

Today the weather surprised me because it was sunny all day. But the temperature was a little low, around 13 degrees. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, since the weather app predicted rainy and cold days for the next few days. However, today turned out to be the opposite of what was predicted. That’s why I tried to walk during my lunch break as much as possible.

My quiet work days, and I started preparing my documents
At the Kul Sharif Mosque, all the people sat on the green grass and enjoyed the great weather

Today the weather was rainy and cloudy. The temperature was even lower than usual. The forecast for the next few days also predicts rainy and cold weather. But even though the weather was bad, I decided to go to the photo office to take pictures for my visa, because I need to prepare all my documents and try to get an appointment. However, I’m not sure if I can get an appointment or not. Still, I need to try if I want to go to Europe.

My prediction from yesterday came true, and today I enjoyed the weather
Kazan Kremlin, Spasskaya Tower. I took this photo around sunset, and you can probably feel it. The sun was already a bit lower, and the tower stood beautifully against it

Yesterday I wrote about how I hoped for a sunny day, and that’s exactly what happened. The whole day was sunny and warm. During my lunch break, I went for a walk and enjoyed the sunshine. I couldn’t have imagined such an awesome day, especially after so many rainy and windy days. That’s why many people were dressed in just T-shirts, carrying a light coat in their hands. I didn’t measure the temperature outside, but it felt very warm — almost like a summer day.

Today is Monday, and I started my new work week
On this cloudy and cold autumn day, I’ll share some sunny photos. This photo shows the monument to Şihabetdin Märcani, near Kaban Lake. He was born in 1818 and lived until 1889. He was a Tatar Hanafi-Maturidi theologian and historian

I don’t really have any news after my very interesting weekend. My morning and day were as usual. Maybe I can just say a few words about the weather, because it didn’t make me happy today. It was cloudy all day, and sometimes a little rainy. However, toward the evening, the sky cleared up a bit, and even the sun peeked through the clouds. I don’t know what the weather will be like tomorrow, but right now I see stars in the sky, so I hope tomorrow will be sunny and warm.

I've already been posting about me and trips for one year, and I like it
Mardjani Mosque was built between 1766 and 1770 by the authority of Catherine the Great and with donations from the city's population

I wrote my first post on September 13, one year ago in 2024. At that time, I used AI to translate my text. First, I wrote posts in my native language, and then I translated them into English, because I didn’t have experience writing posts or texts in English. However, after some time, when I had more motivation to improve my English skills and gained a little bit of experience, I decided to write posts only in English. I even started to understand tenses and main grammar rules.

Today I watched an awful conversation at my work meeting, and it really influenced my opinion about my job
It’s the old building of the Galiasgar Kamal Theater. Now, on the opposite side of the lake, a new building has been built. You can find it with the tag Galiasgar Kamal

Every day I have more doubts about my work, and I’m not sure this is the job I want. Today there was a very unpleasant conversation between my colleague and the company director. It all started during our meeting, when we were discussing tasks. The meeting was delayed by more than an hour, and as usual the director began talking. But after a few minutes, he became very angry, shouted, and swore. This happened because my colleague disagreed with him, and the director slightly misunderstood the situation.

My quiet work day and some news about the schengen visa
Near the Nurulla Mosque. This mosque was build in 1845–1849, also it called Haymarket Mosque, Yunıs Mosque and e.t.c

Yesterday I wrote about how many sunny days we have here, and today the weather was cloudy. I think I jinxed it, because my day started and ended with clouds. I remember seeing the bright sun only a few times and feeling its warmth. Because I managed to go for a walk during my lunch break. Even though I could only walk for 30–40 minutes, I think it was enough to rest and enjoy a little. I also went for a walk during work time. I had ordered some things, and my phone notified me that my orders were ready for pickup. Honestly, it was already late, and I had only 30 minutes left of my workday. So I decided to go and pick up my orders because I could collect them until 6 PM. If my team lead reads this post, I hope everything will be okay.

My first work day after vacation, and a little about my English learning journey
The monument in front of the Galiasgar Kamal Theater shows the famous Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay and the traditional Tatar creature "Shurale

Today was my first work day after my vacation. I worked all day from 9 AM until 6 PM, with a break between 12 PM and 1 PM. In the first part of the day, I returned to my old tasks that I couldn’t finish before my vacation and refreshed my memory about them. In the second part of the day, I had a meeting about how we can stop using Google services. Instead, they want to switch to Russian local services from Yandex. If you don’t know, Yandex is a Russian company that is very similar to Google, but smaller. This change is happening because the Russian government is trying to push companies and citizens to use local IT services. It’s more useful for the government because they can control everything.
