This day started with checking visa appointments. When I woke up, I immediately checked all chats about the Spain visa to see what had happened and whether there was any news about appointments or other updates. It’s very important for me, so I keep waiting for new appointments. I also checked a Telegram chatbot that tracks appointments and shows which ones are available. After that, I manually checked the visa site for Kazan city, and I kept checking it throughout the day. However, today there were no available appointments in other cities either. The Telegram bot only sent messages about empty appointments in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Minsk.
I didn’t try to book an appointment in Moscow. First, Moscow is very inconvenient for me because the chances of getting an appointment there are much lower than in smaller cities. Second, Moscow is about 1,000 kilometers from Kazan, which means a full day or more of traveling. Right now, I don’t want to go to other cities because I simply don’t have the free time.
What about St. Petersburg? I can’t take an appointment there because it’s not my region. I can choose any available city except St. Petersburg. Even if I try to book there, they won’t accept my documents. If I really wanted to apply in St. Petersburg, I would need to get a registration there first, and only then I could submit documents. Without it, the system doesn’t work. They also require a different set of documents.
So, for now, I just need to wait and try to catch an appointment in Kazan. I hope I can manage it, because I’ve already succeeded in catching appointments before. That’s why I’m ready to monitor the visa site all day for my Schengen visa.
