Life, Travels, and Daily English Posts
When I got up, I didn’t have much time to get ready for work. I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face because I was already a little bit late. I only had 10–15 minutes before work started, so my morning was super rushed. I couldn’t even eat breakfast. I just drank some filtered water with lemon and tried a small piece of waffle. I also couldn’t watch my daily show “Good Morning America”, which I usually watch every day during breakfast. This happened because last night I spent the whole night learning the Google Maps API, trying to figure out how to draw my flights. Luckily, everything was successful—I finally understood it, and soon I’ll update my map and show all my flights.
Today the weather was sunny, and it was a busy day. After my morning meeting, I couldn’t start my work tasks. Instead of working on my tasks, I worked on my own personal tasks. I can explain what happened, but first, I want to say what I did with my blog. I finished the text for my “About Me” page and will publish it soon. Second, I started exploring the Google Maps API because I want to update a map to show my flight routes. I hope it will be very interesting and interactive.
Today my morning surprised me again. It was very sunny outside, and I didn’t see a single cloud in the sky. The sky was ridiculously clear and blue. However, the temperature was lower, approximately 5–10 degrees. Even when I went to my balcony with my mug of water, I immediately felt how the cold started to freeze me. Therefore, I couldn’t stay there long and enjoy the sunny weather. Yes, I could have worn my coat, pants, and woolen socks, but I didn’t — I don’t know why. If tomorrow is the same, maybe I’ll wear my winter clothes… if I can find them.
Today my morning started at 10 AM because yesterday I was very tired. So today I decided to sleep a little longer and regain some energy. I also had special plans for this day. I wanted to update a few pages of my blog and spend the whole day at home. I honestly don’t even remember the last time I spent my weekend at home. I just wanted to stay inside, relax slowly, and enjoy the weekend without any worries. Everything went exactly as I planned, and I spent my day peacefully.
This morning started very early because I went to my village. I drove my relatives there, and they continued on to another village with my uncle. I can’t name each of my relatives’ villages, but I can say they are in the Kukmor district. They went because there was a Muslim memorial meal (we have a tradition called “koren ashy”), where a mullah or sometimes an abystay (a respected elder woman) comes to recite Quranic prayers (dua). Our relatives spent the whole day there, but my sister, aunt, and I stayed at home.
This day started with checking visa appointments. When I woke up, I immediately checked all chats about the Spain visa to see what had happened and whether there was any news about appointments or other updates. It’s very important for me, so I keep waiting for new appointments. I also checked a Telegram chatbot that tracks appointments and shows which ones are available. After that, I manually checked the visa site for Kazan city, and I kept checking it throughout the day. However, today there were no available appointments in other cities either. The Telegram bot only sent messages about empty appointments in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Minsk.
Today the weather surprised me because it was sunny all day. But the temperature was a little low, around 13 degrees. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, since the weather app predicted rainy and cold days for the next few days. However, today turned out to be the opposite of what was predicted. That’s why I tried to walk during my lunch break as much as possible.
Today the weather was rainy and cloudy. The temperature was even lower than usual. The forecast for the next few days also predicts rainy and cold weather. But even though the weather was bad, I decided to go to the photo office to take pictures for my visa, because I need to prepare all my documents and try to get an appointment. However, I’m not sure if I can get an appointment or not. Still, I need to try if I want to go to Europe.
Yesterday I wrote about how I hoped for a sunny day, and that’s exactly what happened. The whole day was sunny and warm. During my lunch break, I went for a walk and enjoyed the sunshine. I couldn’t have imagined such an awesome day, especially after so many rainy and windy days. That’s why many people were dressed in just T-shirts, carrying a light coat in their hands. I didn’t measure the temperature outside, but it felt very warm — almost like a summer day.
I don’t really have any news after my very interesting weekend. My morning and day were as usual. Maybe I can just say a few words about the weather, because it didn’t make me happy today. It was cloudy all day, and sometimes a little rainy. However, toward the evening, the sky cleared up a bit, and even the sun peeked through the clouds. I don’t know what the weather will be like tomorrow, but right now I see stars in the sky, so I hope tomorrow will be sunny and warm.
The day started cloudy, the whole sky was covered, and it was cold and windy. The weather app predicted colder days ahead, with temperatures dropping to 2°C at night and around 7–10°C during the daytime, mixed with rain and even snow. I think all the warm days are gone, and the coming days will just be cold and rainy. However, the weather didn’t bother me, and around 11 AM I went to the motorbike racing. But I was late and only managed to watch the last hour.
The first part of the day I spent at home, because the morning was cloudy and even a little rainy. So, I decided to stay at home and do some routine tasks. Also, I practiced my English with the American show Good Morning America. Every day they talked about Charlie Kirk and his investigation. If anyone doesn’t know, he was a politician. If I remember correctly, he was from the Republican Party, and a week ago he was killed. Recently there have been many attempts against Republicans: first Trump, then another man (I don’t remember his name), and now Kirk.
