War
I had no idea this would happen, and I never could have guessed that I'd be sick today. Of course, I never wanted to get sick, but unpleasant things can happen unexpectedly, whether I want them to or not. So my day started at the hospital in the doctor's office, where I took tests for COVID, blood, and feces. But I didn't understand why I needed to take a feces test when I had a fever, a headache, and other signs of illness.
The last time I visited the military office was in 2013, and since then I haven't been there. Because I didn't have any business there, and they didn't notify me about clarifying my military registration data until this time. The only exception was in November 2023, when they sent me a physical summons by mail. But I ignored that letter because it was beyond the law.
Today the weather was a bit chilly. The temperature during the day was only around 18 degrees, and from time to time the rain made the ground slippery, which made my outdoor activities impossible. So instead, I spent the day at home, finished the second Harry Potter book, and rewatched the movie too. It made me realize that it took me much longer to finish the second book than the previous one, even though it was approximately the same length. The difference was only about thirty pages, but I skipped a few days without reading because I was busy with other routines. Honestly, I had planned to finish it in about eighteen days by reading at least one chapter each day.
When I walked to the bathroom after waking up, I saw a message on my Mi Band's screen saying that I had received an online summons from the military office. It felt like that message had been waiting for me to wake up. It definitely didn't make my morning any better and brought a lot of doubts about my next plans, which I had already planned. Of course, it's sad and crazy when everything can change in a single morning, even to the point of leaving the country.
Today at around 10 PM at night, the same thing happened again as last week. Someone loudly knocked on my door with fests and escaped again. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to see who it was—I only noticed how the person quickly escaped. The stair railings were shaking right after, and there were some vibration sounds. In my opinion, he either grabbed them to run faster or accidentally hit them while running.
Good evening, friends and subscribers. In Da Nang, it’s already 22:30 PM on Saturday. This weekend I am free — I don’t have any freelance work. So, since I’m free, I decided to write another post about my evening. If I remember correctly, I have written about my evening a few times before. So this post will be the next one, and it will be a little political and quite long. I hope someone will read it.
