I finished the second Harry Potter book and rewatched the movie
Today the weather was a bit chilly. The temperature during the day was only around 18 degrees, and from time to time the rain made the ground slippery, which made my outdoor activities impossible. So instead, I spent the day at home, finished the second Harry Potter book, and rewatched the movie too. It made me realize that it took me much longer to finish the second book than the previous one, even though it was approximately the same length. The difference was only about thirty pages, but I skipped a few days without reading because I was busy with other routines. Honestly, I had planned to finish it in about eighteen days by reading at least one chapter each day.
Now I've started part three, Prisoner of Azkaban which has twenty-two chapters, so if I read one chapter each day, I'll need twenty-two days to finish it as well. Of course, I'm not sure whether that's possible or not. Also, if I want to finish all the books by the end of this year, I'll need to read much faster and stop skipping days.
And another important thing is whether I can stay in my country until the end of this year. Everyone is talking about mobilization, which could happen after the elections in September, or even earlier. If I'm forced to leave my country, I won't be able to finish my books, although I can take them with me. Still, there are much more important and uncertain things to deal with, like my Schengen visa, for which I have an appointment at the end of July, and my dental implants, which I still need to have installed. Overall, I've been living through a huge amount of uncertainty.
