I finally received my Harry Potter series books, and honestly, it was a really long wait
Later in the evening, I got a notification saying my order had been delivered to the pick-up point. After work, I finished my usual routine and walked there. Luckily, it wasn’t far from my place, so I could enjoy a short walk and get some fresh air. I also want to point out one nice thing about the time here — even at 6 PM, it was still bright outside, and the streetlights weren’t even on yet. Honestly, that feeling made me happier than getting the books, at least for a moment. But once I checked them, the books completely took over. Now the only problem is finding enough free time to actually read them all.
The books aren’t original editions — they’re printed versions — but the quality is good enough for reading. And honestly, they’ll look great on my shelf too. The covers have a modern, colorful design, so I can even use them to decorate my small library after I finish reading. I bought the whole set for about $23, which is pretty cheap, although unfortunately the seller removed the listing, so I can’t share the link.
The collection includes all seven books, plus Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in a decorative box. I had never heard of it before, but after reading about it on Wikipedia, it actually sounds pretty interesting. I did notice a couple of small things: the font is a bit small, and the pages have a strange paint-like smell — not that classic “book smell” I’m used to. But overall, it’s not a big deal.
Yeah, I received my Harry Potter books. It was a really long wait
Today, closer to the evening, I got a notification about my order, that it was delivered to the pick-up point. So, after my work, I finished my routine and walked there. Fortunately it wasn't so far from my home, I could easily walk and also breathe some fresh air after work. I also want to remark on one positive thing about our local time, because at 6 PM it was still bright and even the streetlights weren't turned on. Honestly, this feeling made me happier than my books, but when I checked my books, they took over anyway. Now I need to find some free time to read all these books, and it can be a problem.
Well, all these books are not originals, they're printed versions. But that quality is what I have more than enough to read, and of course it's a good idea to keep them on the bookshelf. Because the cover is decorated in a modern, colorful style, I can decorate my small library after finishing. I bought them for about 1915 rubles, or $23.37. Unfortunately I can't leave the link because the seller removed the link.
In this collection I have seven books and one book about "Cursed Child" packed inside the decorative box. I never heard about "Cursed Child" before, but when I read Wikipedia, I figured out that it should be interesting. I also noticed that the book's letters are a bit small, but it's not critical for me. Pages have a strange paint smell, not like my previous books. They had a more pleasant, like a book smell. While I noticed only these things, that's not so critical for me.
