About my weekend evenings in Da Nang, Vietnam, and other things

Good evening, friends and subscribers. In Da Nang, it’s already 22:30 PM on Saturday. This weekend I am free — I don’t have any freelance work. So, since I’m free, I decided to write another post about my evening. If I remember correctly, I have written about my evening a few times before. So this post will be the next one, and it will be a little political and quite long. I hope someone will read it.

Da Nang Beach in the evening — the moon in the sky, shining over the sea

Today, when I arrived in my new rented apartment, first I checked my apartment and started unpacking my belongings. What did I check? I checked for cockroaches, ants, and other bad little insects. Fortunately, everything was good, and I couldn’t find anything. So I’m very glad. Also, I want to add one moment from yesterday. Yesterday, in my hotel room, I saw a little lizard. Unfortunately, I couldn’t recognize it.

So, after I finished my apartment inspection and unpacking my belongings, I decided to improve my English a little bit. I turned on an English podcast where one American family couple talked about the American accent. I listened to this video for about one hour, and after that, I turned on my second video about the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The interviewer was Lex Fridman, and that interview lasted three hours. I watched the whole interview and I was very involved. I think the President of Ukraine is doing the right things for protecting his country.

After my English time, it was already 18:10 PM, so I decided to order food. For my dinner, I chose Turkish food — a “Chicken Doner Kebab Plate” and Turkish pizza “Lahmacun.” The chicken meat had skin again; I already wrote about that before. The “Lahmacun” was good and delicious. If I don’t forget, I need to write a review about the chicken skin.

When I finished my dinner, I went for a walk around the beach. Fortunately, the weather was very comfortable, not hot, and I immediately felt a fresh, nice wind. I was a little surprised because I’ve already been here for two weeks and I never felt such a fresh wind. Well, okay, I went toward the beach because there is a walking area. I live near the beach — from my apartment to the beach is maybe 5 minutes, not more than 10 minutes. There, I spent maybe two hours because the weather was very comfortable, and at three spots there were concerts. And at one spot there was a water disco, where everyone could pour water on each other with water guns inside the area. And also from the top, water was poured on you. I think it was very funny when everyone poured water over each other.

I think I need to finish my post because I already wrote so many lines. Well, while I was going back to my apartment, I bought a 5L bottle of water and a little bottle (320 ml) of Coca-Cola and went to my apartment. That was my half day and my evening.
