Today I decided to take my next blood test in Kazan at a private clinic before my next dental implant surgery. My family members also decided to go on this trip with me so we could visit our relatives afterward. But something went wrong. When I finished my business at the clinic, we got a message saying they had already gone from the city to their country house. So we changed our plans and drove there instead, as we had some presents for them and couldn't just cancel the visit.
I had no idea this would happen, and I never could have guessed that I'd be sick today. Of course, I never wanted to get sick, but unpleasant things can happen unexpectedly, whether I want them to or not. So my day started at the hospital in the doctor's office, where I took tests for COVID, blood, and feces. But I didn't understand why I needed to take a feces test when I had a fever, a headache, and other signs of illness.
The weather wasn’t very good today. It was rainy and a bit cold. The temperature was lower than in previous days, around 20–22 degrees during the day. In the evening, the average temperature was approximately 18 degrees, and the forecast predicted around 16 degrees at night. So today I decided to skip my biking and drive to the village to celebrate Eid al-Adha. I’m sure it’s much more fun than riding my bike in low temperatures and getting cold.
I made one mistake because I went for a walk at 29 degrees. In my opinion, I picked the hottest time of the day around lunch. Also, I didn’t take water and didn’t cover my head. At first, when I walked across the forest, everything was okay. I didn’t feel anything unusual. I walked among the trees and enjoyed the shadows. But when I left the forest and walked around the open field under the sun, I felt that something happened to my fingers. My hands became red, and moving my fingers was a bit difficult. And I had a very strong feeling that I needed to drink water. Of course, it was unpleasant and a bit scary. I had never felt anything like that before.
