I don’t really have any news after my very interesting weekend. My morning and day were as usual. Maybe I can just say a few words about the weather, because it didn’t make me happy today. It was cloudy all day, and sometimes a little rainy. However, toward the evening, the sky cleared up a bit, and even the sun peeked through the clouds. I don’t know what the weather will be like tomorrow, but right now I see stars in the sky, so I hope tomorrow will be sunny and warm.
I wrote my first post on September 13, one year ago in 2024. At that time, I used AI to translate my text. First, I wrote posts in my native language, and then I translated them into English, because I didn’t have experience writing posts or texts in English. However, after some time, when I had more motivation to improve my English skills and gained a little bit of experience, I decided to write posts only in English. I even started to understand tenses and main grammar rules.
Every day I have more doubts about my work, and I’m not sure this is the job I want. Today there was a very unpleasant conversation between my colleague and the company director. It all started during our meeting, when we were discussing tasks. The meeting was delayed by more than an hour, and as usual the director began talking. But after a few minutes, he became very angry, shouted, and swore. This happened because my colleague disagreed with him, and the director slightly misunderstood the situation.
Yesterday I wrote about how many sunny days we have here, and today the weather was cloudy. I think I jinxed it, because my day started and ended with clouds. I remember seeing the bright sun only a few times and feeling its warmth. Because I managed to go for a walk during my lunch break. Even though I could only walk for 30–40 minutes, I think it was enough to rest and enjoy a little. I also went for a walk during work time. I had ordered some things, and my phone notified me that my orders were ready for pickup. Honestly, it was already late, and I had only 30 minutes left of my workday. So I decided to go and pick up my orders because I could collect them until 6 PM. If my team lead reads this post, I hope everything will be okay.
Today was my first work day after my vacation. I worked all day from 9 AM until 6 PM, with a break between 12 PM and 1 PM. In the first part of the day, I returned to my old tasks that I couldn’t finish before my vacation and refreshed my memory about them. In the second part of the day, I had a meeting about how we can stop using Google services. Instead, they want to switch to Russian local services from Yandex. If you don’t know, Yandex is a Russian company that is very similar to Google, but smaller. This change is happening because the Russian government is trying to push companies and citizens to use local IT services. It’s more useful for the government because they can control everything.
Yesterday I arrived in Baltasi at 8 PM, and by that time it was already a little late. When I reached the border between Arsk and Baltasi, I saw police patrol cars. I thought, “That’s it, they’ll stop me too,” but fortunately they let me pass, so I was able to continue. I thought about it because I don’t have car insurance—I didn’t buy it. Why? Because I plan to stay here only 3 months, and for that time I’d have to pay $30, while a whole year costs $50. It doesn’t seem reasonable to me to pay that much if I’m not using the car long-term. Also, if the police stop me for the first time, I can just pay an $8 fine, and after that the fine is between $30–$50. So for me, it still feels unreasonable, and that’s why I decided to take my chances.
Today my morning started as usual. I woke up at 8 AM and immediately got up to do my morning routine. At that time, I still wasn’t thinking about going to Kazan. However, after a few hours I started to think about a trip to Kazan. When I looked out of my window, the weather was ridiculously awesome—there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky, it was deep blue, and the sun was shining so brightly that it warmed my windowsill. Also it was my last vacation days. All of this helped me decide to go to Kazan.
“Today early in the morning, at 5:30 AM, my plane landed at Kazan International Airport. The landing was very smooth and comfortable. After landing, I spent about an hour, or a little less, at passport control because everything was very slow and the line was long. At passport control, a police officer asked me about my trip and what countries I had visited for such a long time. I answered everything honestly.
Tomorrow my flight to Kazan will be on an Airbus A330-203, and my seat is 16K by the window. Today, at the last moment, I checked in and got this seat. If I understand correctly, for passengers who don’t buy a seat, the system randomly assigns middle seats first, and only after those are filled does it start assigning other seats.
Hey friends, today is August 30th, the last days of summer and the Republic of Tatarstan, my homeland, people are celebrating Republic Day. I also want to share about my summer. These months were very memorable for me because I visited several European and Asian countries. It was a really cool and useful experience. As for my plans, today I don’t have anything special because I already finished everything. I just need to pack my belongings, rest, and tomorrow early in the morning (at 5 AM) I’ll go to the airport.
These days, so many important moments have happened in my life, but I can't tell you about each moment. I want to share my travel plan for next month. I want to visit Spain (Valencia), Portugal (Porto), Czech (Prague), Austria (Vienna), Italy (Milan). I think everything will be ok
Last week was crazy, a lot of work tasks, a lot of trips. I was really busy. I only managed to sort everything out by sunday evening.
