Today my morning started as usual. I woke up at 8 AM and immediately got up to do my morning routine. At that time, I still wasn’t thinking about going to Kazan. However, after a few hours I started to think about a trip to Kazan. When I looked out of my window, the weather was ridiculously awesome—there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky, it was deep blue, and the sun was shining so brightly that it warmed my windowsill. Also it was my last vacation days. All of this helped me decide to go to Kazan.
Well, at 11 AM I packed into my backpack laptop, headphones, power bank, my cameras (if I want to take a video), my thermo mug with full lemon water, and went to my small trip. Also, I grabbed my phone because without it I couldn’t take pictures. While I drove my car during 1.5 hours nothing interesting happened, because the road was empty, comfortable and the weather was pretty amazing. However, I remember just one moment near the village Chepchugi roadmen fixed the road condition. So there was a little bit traffic jam but it was not so long, maybe 5–10 minutes.
When I arrived in Kazan the time was 12:30 PM and I decided to park my car near my old apartment area. In that apartment I lived 4 or 5 years. And so that place was very convenient for me. Well, after I parked my car I went to shop to buy a new belt for my Mi Band. My old belt was broken and I couldn’t use it conveniently. For the new belt I paid ~$5. It was my first thing what I needed to do. The second thing, I wanted to get haircut but I didn’t have an appointment. So I decided to check it, maybe they can cut my hair without an appointment. And I was correct, my haircut master could cut my hair without appointment and for it I paid $6. For all of these things I spent 1.5 hours.
After I decided to text my friend from my old work. We already decided with him to meet when I arrive in Kazan city. But unfortunately we couldn’t meet. Because he felt a little bit sick and caught some bad virus. Well, in that time I could only text him “be healthy and get better soon.” I hope he will be healthy and my next visit we can meet with him.
From 2 PM until 6 PM I walked and visited the most famous and popular places. First place was “Kaban lake” (Google Maps coordinates 55.776295352777126, 49.123723486025085) and Galiasgar Kamal theater (coordinates 55.7831260157456, 49.120162355792445). Second place was “Baumana street” (coordinates 55.78868787863175, 49.11815748015606). The third place was the mosque Kul Sharif (coordinates 55.798525374841645, 49.101184141483074), Spasskaya Tower (coordinates 55.79666157502226, 49.10892407027905), Suyumbike Tower (coordinates 55.80057354209887, 49.106137573017406), Monument of Musa Jalil (coordinates 55.79601484647676, 49.10893265126404).
For this trip I could visit only a few main attractions and next trip I’ll try to visit other famous places. In Kazan there are so many beautiful and awesome places and I think Kazan is a very interesting city for tourists. Even I compared it with other countries where I’ve been and Kazan is not bad, even some places more better. If you don’t know where you can go, arrive in Kazan and explore this awesome city.
