Tomorrow my flight to Kazan will be on an Airbus A330-203, and my seat is 16K by the window. Today, at the last moment, I checked in and got this seat. If I understand correctly, for passengers who don’t buy a seat, the system randomly assigns middle seats first, and only after those are filled does it start assigning other seats.
I think it works, because this is not the first time I’ve noticed it. I always try to check in online at the last moment, and I usually get convenient seats. Today, I already mentioned that I got a middle seat for my flight from Dubai to Istanbul. But fortunately, a couple asked me to change seats with them, and I agreed. I got seat 73F, which is the leftmost seat in the middle row and more comfortable.
Right now, I’m in the lounge, but I don’t remember exactly what time I entered. I plan to stay here until 11:40 AM, because boarding starts at 00:15 AM. I also know my gate number is D6. The Turkish Airlines app shows me this gate, but the boards on the walls will display the gate information at 11:15 PM. I hope this information is correct.
