This photo is from my walk, and it shows my city’s embankment covered with snow. The city has also started to get decorated for the New Year. New decorations are appearing everywhere, and they have already begun setting up the New Year tree in the central square

During the day, the weather was warm, around +1 degree. Outside, everything started to melt, and small puddles appeared. Because of that, I decided to go outside and clean my car, as it was covered with wet snow. I didn’t want all that snow to freeze on it later. If it froze, it would cause more inconvenience, and I would have to spend extra time removing it. So I decided to be on the safe side and cleaned the car. And I was right — in the evening, everything started to freeze.

Now it is −7 degrees outside, and at night the forecast predicts up to −10 degrees. As a result, all the roads and pedestrian areas look like mirrors because everything is frozen. I felt it myself when I went for a walk after 10 PM. Still, it wasn’t too bad for me. I could walk along the embankment without serious problems and just had to be careful. I didn’t want to slip, hurt myself, or end up lying there.

The bridge across the river has already started to be covered with snow, and soon it will be completely covered. I walk across this bridge every week, and I took this photo on December 11

I tried to use chlorhexidine again, as my dentist recommended, and I started to feel uncomfortable in my mouth again. Today, however, I used it only twice: after lunch and after dinner. Right now, I have slight discomfort and some itching. All the time, I want to touch the operated area with my tongue and scratch it. However, I don’t feel any swelling, but I have started to notice something strange around my implants. When I touch it with my tongue, I feel something sharp. It feels like a bone, and it seems to be growing. I have no idea what it is, but it doesn’t cause pain or anything else. I’m also 100 percent sure it’s not food or anything stuck there, because I ate only soft food and was extremely careful. So I think I’ll just wait until December 27, or maybe I’ll send a message to my dentist and ask about it.

This photo was taken on December 6, while I was visiting Kazan. I took it near the clinic where I go for my blood tests. I noticed something very similar to Germany here, especially the building, and the weather was the same too

The swelling in my left cheek after the implantation has finally disappeared, and I don’t feel any discomfort anymore. I feel everything as usual, like before the surgery. However, I can still feel and see the stitches in my mouth, and the threads in the operated area haven’t dissolved yet. I think they will dissolve soon. So everything is good, and I’m not worried about visiting my dentist earlier than scheduled in fact, I feel ready to start following the next step in my care. Tomorrow, I plan to start using chlorhexidine because my dentist prescribed it, and I need to rinse my mouth for fourteen days. By the way, I already tried using chlorhexidine on Monday, but I stopped because I started to feel a bit sick, so I was forced to stop it. I also wrote about this here.

This is my last picture from my weekend walk. The sun can be seen shining through the trees inside the forest. Skiers had already started skiing, and my walking path was completely covered with snow

Yesterday I mentioned the New Year event from my previous workplace. Today I was informed about the exact time it would take place, but unfortunately it turned out to be inconvenient for me. The event is scheduled for December 24, after the working day, so I decided not to participate. However, they also changed the venue. Initially, they planned to hold it in a restaurant, but in the end they rented a house. Honestly, the house would have been more convenient for me. In a house, there are fewer chances of meeting a tamada or a similar host. In addition, while I was working there, I had already participated in events held in rented houses, so I can say that I had positive experiences without any worries.

My next photo is from my walk yesterday. Behind those trees is the place where my city celebrates the Sabantuy holiday every year. And it’s another lovely sunset seen through the trees

Today I was supposed to start rinsing my mouth with chlorhexidine 0.05% because my dentist wrote about it in the prescription. However, when I tried it, I noticed that the operated area started to ache a little. I also noticed that my swelling seemed to increase slightly. I’m not completely sure about this, and I have some doubts — maybe it was just my imagination or it happened spontaneously. So I decided not to use chlorhexidine for a few days to observe the situation. If everything is fine over the next few days, I will try it again. If something happens, I plan to discuss it with my dentist.

In the prescription, the dentist wrote that I should use it three times after meals. The first time I used it after lunch, the second time around 3 PM, and the third time I planned to use it after dinner, which is my last meal of the day. However, I skipped the last time and didn’t use it. Now the operated area doesn’t hurt. Even this morning and during the first part of the day, I felt that the swelling was smaller than yesterday or had even disappeared. I also stopped taking antibiotics — today was the last day.

Photo from my walk today. In this photo, you can see two suns. The first one is on the right side—it’s very bright and it’s the real sun. The second one is on the left side. It also looks like a sun because they have a similar shape, but it’s much dimmer

It was the last day of my weekend, and I spent it as productively as possible. Yesterday I went to bed around 12 a.m., then I woke up at 3 a.m., and in the morning I woke up again at 9 a.m. In total, I slept 9 hours and 30 minutes. It’s my new record here. I don’t remember sleeping that long since I arrived in Russia. Yesterday night I started to feel a headache. I thought it might be because of a fever, but fortunately, in the morning I felt good. During the day, I also felt fine, even though I went for a walk at –15 degrees. Today the temperature was very low, and it felt like –20 to –25 degrees, according to my relatives. However, when I went for a walk, I felt cold, but I can’t say it was extremely cold. It was fresh, walkable winter weather. Even my car engine started without any problems, although the battery is already old and a bit discharged.

This is a memorable, limited-edition magazine from my work. I didn’t find anything very interesting for me because everything is about 1C. However, the magazine covers are decorated in an interesting way, and the inside design is also nice. The materials are very soft and pleasant to touch

Today is Saturday, and it was my weekend, so I decided to spend the day at home because I wanted to complete my freelance work and just relax. Also, the surgery area in my mouth is still not strong enough, so I preferred to stay at home. While I was at home, I randomly turned on a video on YouTube and started doing my routine. First, I reread the instructions and the prescription from my dentist because I wanted to check what is normal and what is not, as well as review the restrictions, since I thought I might have skipped something. After that, I started my freelance work and took tasks from a banking website. The first task was a bit challenging and had been hanging over me since November 15, if I remember correctly, but today I finally finished it, and on Monday I will transfer the task. I hope my client will be happy because she has been waiting for it for a long time. The next task was not challenging; it mainly involved replacing texts and documents and fixing some JavaScript code in a few places, and I think it will take around two or three hours, which I will complete tomorrow.

It’s another one of my photos from my walk yesterday. I call this place the viewpoint, because from this hill you can see the whole city. I also shared this photo before, from an earlier time

This morning started a bit uncomfortably. When I woke up, walked to the bathroom, and started brushing my teeth, everything suddenly became red. I touched the place where I had surgery in my mouth with my toothbrush, and it started bleeding. I didn’t even touch it hard, but the bleeding was unforgettable, and my mouth looked as red as a vampire’s in movies. However, I didn’t feel any pain — it just bled. The bleeding didn’t last very long. After I finished brushing my teeth, it continued for about fifteen minutes and then stopped. During the day it didn’t bother me at all. Right now, I don’t feel pain or bleeding, but the surgical area itches a bit and is slightly swollen. It’s not noticeable, but I constantly want to scratch it. Overall, everything is okay — I didn’t even take any anesthetic pills, but I took antibiotics twice today.

After my breakfast, I decided to go for a walk this morning. As usual, I visited the same places where I had been before. I already shared this place during the fall, and now I’m visiting the same place in the winter

Yesterday I already mentioned my surgery, but I had some doubts about it because I was worried about my blood test results. However, everything went super-duper well and without any pain. When I entered the clinic, I hung up my coat and waited. The surgery assistant came down and gave me two pills — an antibiotic and an anesthetic. After I took them, I waited for her to invite me in. After about five minutes she came back, and we went together to the surgery room. She had already prepared my X-ray images and other important things. When I lay down, she gave me black glasses, put a special surgery cap on my head, and pinned a protective apron around my neck. After that, she prepared my mouth and teeth and injected the anesthesia. She also explained everything that would happen.

My toothbrush is the Soocas X3U Pro, and it came with a travel box—I specifically ordered the version with the box so I can easily take it with me if I need to leave. I also have four brush heads for it, so I don’t need to worry about replacements for a long time. The toothbrush has multiple cleaning modes (Gentle, Sensitive, Deep Clean, and Polishing), a charge indicator, and other useful features. And the most important thing is that it uses a Type-C charger

During the whole day, the temperature outside stayed around –6 degrees, and there was a small blizzard. While I was working, I noticed through my window how the snow was falling slowly and trying to cover the ground. The wind was blowing around the roofs and carrying the snow between the houses. Eventually, the snow covered everything, and right now everything is white. It really looks like winter weather. I want to believe that the snow won’t melt and won’t make a mess on the ground. If the weather stays the same, I think I can go sledding down a hill on a tube. I already wanted to go sledding last year, but I couldn’t find time for it. This year I definitely must do this activity.

This photo is from a Russian service called Gosuslugi. Here, everyone can get any service easily. So all notifications about fines and other things just arrive here, and you can pay from here. In this photo, all important information about the fine is shown: a photo with my car plates (if it is daytime, it can show you too), the place where the violation was committed, the fine amount, you can download documents, etc

The weather temperature has continued to stay in minus degrees. And this morning, outside it was around –15 degrees. It's already cold, but if the wind blows, it will feel even colder. Also, today and yesterday were sunny days. And at night, while I was driving to my city, I saw a clear sky with the moon and stars. I think it's better than +5 and wet weather, because everything is frozen and dry. However, I have one problem with my car’s antifreeze for my front window — it just froze. Now I need to wait for a warm day or park the car in a warm garage. When I bought it, the bottle said –20 degrees, if I’m correct. But in real life, it froze at –10 degrees. Right now, I can’t use my car wipers, and yesterday I also couldn’t use them.

During the tyre change, I took a few photos of my car. The people working there are familiar to me, and I always use their service. I spent $21 (about 1600 roubles) for changing my R15 tyres, and they also washed my summer tyres

I had a very busy day from the moment I woke up until 9 PM. About my tasks, I already mentioned them yesterday. During the day, I managed to change my car tyres and got my day off approved for December 11. After my workday, I drove to Kazan. Changing the tyres and getting the day off were easy—I completed both without any problems. But going to Kazan was a bit difficult. I need to spend about 1.5 hours each way on the road and drive around 100 kilometers each direction. It’s not very long or very far, but it’s still a bit annoying. The road between my city and Kazan doesn’t have two lanes in each direction. So if someone in front of you is driving 70 km/h or if there is a truck, you also have to stay at the same speed and follow them. You can’t overtake because there are many no overtaking signs, and when overtaking is allowed, oncoming cars usually don’t give you a chance.
