My sunny day, and I’m just living my best life

My day, as usual, started with my morning routine, and it happened to be my weekend. After that, I made something to eat and started watching my American show. I have been watching it every day for about six months now, and I’ve developed a very useful habit. I don’t even remember a day when I missed it. This habit is really helpful because it allows me to practice my English skills, and it helps me a lot. Also, this morning and day were so sunny. I couldn’t believe that after non-stop rainy days, such a beautiful sunny day could come. It was completely unpredictable — I hadn’t even checked the weather forecast. So I couldn’t resist going for a walk.

During my walk, the ground was frozen and the temperature outside was around –3 degrees. While I was walking, I saw many people who were also just walking, relaxing, and enjoying themselves after the rainy days. I even saw horse riders slowly walking with their horses. Each horse seemed so happy, expressing its mood by making loud noises. It was very understandable — after spending all day, or even the whole week, at home or doing nothing, getting outside feels so refreshing and necessary. I walked for about two hours, just enjoying the warmth of the sun.

Today, I finally finished what I promised for my freelance project. It was hard work because I spent the whole days on it, and sometimes I didn’t even have time to lie down. But now I can already feel how everything has become easier. Today, I was able to watch a whole movie, finish it, and not think about work at all. It feels so freeing, and I don’t even know how to describe it in words.
