I didn't think Uzbekistan could be such an expensive country

Today I had another usual day with my usual daily routine. Except for two things that I did during the day. First, I visited the Black Lake during my ride, which was something new, and started thinking about my new trip. Especially about my flight tickets for my first destination in Uzbekistan. I already had flexible flight tickets there, which I booked one month ago. So today I wanted to adjust my plans and change my flight dates, but it was completely unsuccessful. Just for changing the dates, they wanted to charge me $74, which didn't seem reasonable to pay. However, canceling the ticket could be much more reasonable, as I would lose $34 and then buy a new one.

Still, that wasn't the only surprise I noticed. I also checked apartment prices in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Airbnb. And honestly, I was freaking out over the prices for a month's rent. It's something I just can't understand, as the prices are so high and don't seem reasonable for those apartments. The prices start at 700 euros and go higher and higher. After seeing all of that, I even started losing some interest in my next trip and thought about staying at home rather than spending money and paying such high prices for a rental.

Sure, I thought that maybe I was the only one who was a bit confused by those prices, especially since I hadn't taken any trips in the previous months. So I decided to compare them with another place and checked the prices in Bangkok, Thailand. And there, I found some really cool options starting from 300 euros per month. For 500 euros, I found a very nice condominium with a swimming pool, gym, parking, and other nice benefits. So I can understand those prices, and they actually make sense. But paying 700 euros for an apartment without a swimming pool or any other benefits is something I really can't understand.
