Today I learned something interesting from my former workplace

Here I’ve shared some moments about how I was fired, and since that day I haven’t looked at the job market. I didn’t even update my resume because I had no plans to start working again. But today, a few messages from Telegram caught my attention. They came from my former workplace's channel, where they had forgotten to remove me. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, they realized I was the odd one out, and I was removed from the channel.

However, the interesting thing I mentioned in the title was related to how many employees are still working there. Even though they removed me from the channel, I managed to notice that there are approximately 140 employees left. Honestly, I have no idea whether I was the last odd one out or if there are still other fired employees there too. But now I guess that, out of 200 employees, at least 60 have been fired. And there's no guarantee that they won't reduce the staff even further next time.

Now there must be so much turbulence among the employees because they already fired all the most recently hired people, and the next wave could affect employees who have been working there for four or five years. Besides, the economic situation is not good at all, and it seems to be getting worse every day. So I don't envy those who are still there and still praised the CEO for being such a great guy.
