Challenge, day 11. Today I had a day off and finished my book Fluent Forever

This Monday wasn’t usual for me. While my previous Mondays were workdays, today I had a day off and spent it following my usual weekend routine. The weather was unpredictable, though, and by the evening the rain had already started. Despite that, the temperature felt much more comfortable — around 15 degrees — and the wind wasn’t as chilly as yesterday. By the way, my bike ride happened under the sun, so I had a great opportunity to enjoy what was probably the last sunny day for a while, because the forecast says the rest of the week will be cloudy and a bit rainy.

Today I rode only 10 kilometers because I was practicing my speaking skills

My bike ride wasn’t completely comfortable. When I reached the forest area, I saw the same obstacles that I described in my previous posts. In short, someone had made barriers from fallen trees and tried to block the route. Today, though, some of the trees had been broken in half and moved away from the road, but not all of them. However, when I went deeper into the forest, I noticed that some of the obstacles had extra trees and branches added to them.

Still, I finished my book Fluent Forever. I started it on March 16 and finished it on May 11. Some days I read only 10–15 pages, but whenever I was free from work, I could read 40–50 pages. In total, I finished all 417 pages quite easily and without pressure. In my opinion, the book is fascinating and useful. It introduced me to new knowledge and different language-learning methods throughout the reading process.

My journey with reading English books. Before, I never really read books; they just weren’t interesting to me
