Challenge, day 3. I finally took my bike out and completed my first 21-kilometer ride through the forest
Today was absolutely amazing — the sky stayed crystal clear all day, and the temperature was around 16°C, which felt perfectly comfortable and refreshing. So I spent my last weekend fully enjoying nature and everything around it. But the main story is about my bike ride, which unfortunately included a small crash and a few abrasions. Luckily, the accident wasn’t serious, and I didn’t get any major injuries.
The incident happened on a flat section of a gravel road heading toward “Black Lake,” somewhere between the 5 and 7-kilometer marks on my Mi Fitness screenshot. I wanted to make space for a car and moved closer to the roadside, but suddenly my bike wheel slipped and I ended up on the ground. Everything happened so fast that I barely understood what had happened. In the end, my shorts and t-shirt got covered in dirt, and I got several abrasions on my hands and legs. Thankfully, my phone survived, and the bike wasn’t damaged either. What surprised me most in this whole story was the driver — he didn’t stop, didn’t ask if I was okay, and just kept driving.
Challenge, day 3. I finally took my bike and made my first 21 kilometers around the forest
Today the day was just awesome, even the sky was crystal clear all day. Also, the temperature was 16°C, which brought only comfortable and pleasant feelings. So I spent my last weekend interested in and around nature. But the main news is about my bike riding, where I had some bad experiences and got some abrasions. Fortunately, my bike incident wasn't big, and I didn't get any serious injuries.
That incident happened just on a flat section of a gravel road toward "Black Lake," between 5 and 7 kilometers on my screenshot from the Mi Fitness app. There I wanted to give a way the car and took to the roadside. But my bike's wheel slipped, and I was lying on the ground. It happened so fast, even I couldn't understand what it was. As a result, my shorts and t-shirt were dirty, and I got multiple abrasions on my hands and legs. Fortunately I didn't damage my phone and didn't break my bike. In this story the most interesting thing is that car driver. He didn't stop the car and not provide help or just ask what happened.
