Today is the seventh day of Ramadan, and I have some news about my upcoming business trip to Moscow
Yesterday, I went to bed around midnight. I only wanted to take a short rest, but unfortunately, I ended up sleeping until 2 a.m. The first time I woke up was around 1 a.m. when I accidentally dropped my phone. I thought I would sleep for just ten more minutes, but those ten minutes turned into a full extra hour. As a result, I missed my speaking practice and other daily routines.
Today, I need to practice even more than usual because I don’t want to lose the progress I’ve made over the past month. In fact, I’ve been practicing speaking every single day since January — even since late December — for at least thirty minutes. Now I want to maintain this strong habit and see what kind of results I can achieve after a full year. It’s my personal experiment.
My day was quite unusual. I had a briefing with my colleagues about our upcoming conference, which will take place from March 12 to 15. The person in charge explained the main rules, told us where we’ll be staying, and covered other important details. Even though I’m only attending as a participant and don’t have any specific responsibilities, they made sure to explain everything clearly. Since this will be my first large-scale conference — with more than a thousand participants — I’m both excited and curious about the experience.
I’ve already booked my flight tickets to Moscow and back to Kazan. I chose convenient flights myself, and the company reimbursed the cost. I booked economy class tickets with Aeroflot, and the total price was around 11,000 rubles (approximately $142). The company also arranged hotel accommodations for all employees who plan to attend. However, we weren’t allowed to book rooms individually, and they reserved double rooms instead. I tried to request a single room, but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible. At the moment, I only know the hotel’s address and don’t have any additional information.
Today is the seventh day of Ramadan. Some news about my business trip to Moscow
Yesterday I lay down around 12 am and fell asleep. I just wanted a bit of rest, but unfortunately I slept until 2 am. The first time I woke up at 1 am, when I dropped my phone. Then I thought I could sleep an extra ten minutes, but my ten minutes continued until 2 am. As a result, I missed my speaking and other routines. So today I need to speak much more than yesterday. Because I don't want to lose my previous effort that I did last month. Since January, even though it was December, I've been speaking every day, not less than thirty minutes. And now I need to keep up that powerful exercise. Shortly, it's my new experiment, and I want to see what will happen after a year.
My day was unusual. I had a briefing with my colleagues about our conference from March 12 to 15. There, the responsible employee talked about the main rules, explained where we will live, and other important things. Even though I'm just a visitor and I don't have special tasks there, they explained each detail properly. So I have some imagination of how it will happen, because it's my first conference. Before, I never visited such huge conferences with more than one thousand people. Honestly, it's so exciting, and I hope I can get new emotions and new experiences.
Right now I already have flight tickets to Moscow and back to Kazan. I reserved flight tickets myself, which I thought were convenient for me, and my company paid for them. I took tickets from Aeroflot Airlines, economy class, it cost around eleven thousand rubles total, or $142. Of course, my company also provided hotel accommodations for each employee who wanted to visit the conference. But I didn't have any permissions to reserve a room by myself, and they reserved double rooms. Honestly, I don't think it's so bad, but I tried to get a single room for myself. Unfortunately, it didn't help me. So about the hotel room, I don't have any information, I just know the hotel address.
