Today is my twenty-fifth day in Thailand — everything is okay and everything is as usual
Well, I don't have any news about me, everything is as usual, so now I want to share a review about my new headphones, Sony WH-1000XM6. These are my first headphones — before, I used simple wired earpods that cost $3 or $4. These new headphones cost $470.
I have used these headphones for more than 2 weeks, and now I want to share a review about them. First, I want to explain why I bought them: my old wired earpods started to break — you can see them in the first photo. I used those old cheap earpods for two or three years, even though they cost only $3. The full name is DEXP EH-200 — if you want to find them, you can do it in Russian stores.
Now I want to start to write about my new headphones.
First, I want to share what I like about them, because it’s more important for me and maybe for others too. In that list, I include the main pluses for me.
- Wireless connection and connection between phone and my laptop, because I can quickly switch them.
- I like the NC/AMB technology — this system is used for noise cancellation or ambient sound mode. I never used this mode before, but when I started to use it, I understood it’s a very useful and comfortable thing.
- I like is how the headphones sound. They sound very nice and clear, I can hear each sound and soft bass.
- I can use these headphones for two days. I charged them to 100% and used them for two days all day. I started at 10 AM and used them until 11 PM.
- Design, because they look very stylish and feel nice to touch.
- Sensor panel on the right side of the headphones. This sensor panel gives the opportunity to control music. You can stop/play, add or lower the volume, and you can switch to the next/previous music.
- Type-C charger, the cable for connection, the transport case, and the mobile app where you can find more interesting settings.
I think the minuses are not so many and maybe it’s not a real minus.
- While I used these headphones for more than two weeks every day, sometimes my headphones disconnected from my phone or laptop and started to play loudly. I don’t know why it happened but I want to resolve this issue. Maybe I just need to check the settings.
- Second minus, the price, because the price is very high. In official Sony stores, in other countries, if I remember correctly, you can buy them for $440, but in Thailand, in Bangkok city, the price was $470
Conclusion
I am so glad that I bought them because these headphones gave me more impressions, even though the price was very high. Next time I think I will know the quality of these headphones equals the price. However, these headphones are very comfortable for me right now and I am ready to recommend them.
P.S. A few days ago I got a new software update.
