Nothing but disappointments

Last night, I listened to people whistling like savages from their balconies at 1 AM. Of course, this wasn't anything new, as it's the kind of animal behavior I've been noticing since my first days here. But on top of that, my WhatsApp started ringing with strange calls and messages from Kazakhstan. Within about 10 minutes, I received around 10 calls, and then some messages in Kazakh started coming in as well. It only stopped after I changed my WhatsApp privacy settings and blocked all those numbers. However, even after making these changes, I still received some notifications in the morning.
