While I was out shopping for some groceries after lunch

My flight to Batumi landed at 11 PM, and it had been raining before we arrived, so the whole runway was completely wet. I think that was probably the main reason why the landing wasn't very comfortable, and maybe even a little dangerous. As the aircraft hit the ground so hard that it actually bounced a little after landing, and I could feel it. For a moment, I thought we were going to go around and try to land again, like in those YouTube videos I had watched. At the same time, the women sitting in the first rows in front of me suddenly made some loud sounds because of what had just happened. But luckily, everything ended without any extra worries.

Going through passport and customs control was pretty fast. At customs, they only asked me about my money and medicines, but they didn't check anything manually. Instead, they just put my backpack through the scanner and let me go. So I was lucky they didn't check my money, because only after that did I remember that I had a bit more cash than I was supposed to have. Of course, it wasn't much, probably only a few US dollars, but still, according to the customs rules, it technically meant that I had broken the rules when I left my country.

During the day, I didn't have anything special going on, so I spent the whole day at my apartment and only went to the nearby Carrefour to buy some groceries. That was basically the only time I went outside today, when the rain became a bit lighter and it was only 16 degrees. And I will probably still stay in my apartment over the next few days, as the weather forecast is predicting more rainy days too.
