During my unsuccessful walk, I noticed something interesting in the Army of Darkness movie
While I was driving home from my walk in the rain, I remembered one moment from the Army of Darkness movie, which I watched a few days ago. I remembered the scene with the main character traveling through time after fighting the evils. It was especially interesting to see how the movie makers presented the time-traveling moment. I only thought about it during my outdoor activity.
The main character got a special liquid from the Wise Man and was buried in a cave with his car. After that, while lying in the back seat of the car, he dropped some of the liquid into his mouth and fell asleep for a long time. But, in my opinion, I noticed one mistake in his actions. While he was dropping the liquid into his mouth, he got distracted by the rocks falling around him and lost track of the number of drops. Instead of 6 drops, he took 7. As a result, he slept a bit longer, and by the time he woke up, the right time had already passed.
What happened in this scene was much more interesting to me than in other movies, where they usually use magical vehicles to travel through time. However, in this movie, after waking up from the magic liquid, the main character was still the same age, without any major changes. Only his hair and beard had grown a little. In my view, this version of traveling through time is much more interesting. Of course, it's not something completely new; I've noticed similar things in other movies before, but they didn't present time travel in quite the same way as Army of Darkness did in 1992.
