A stormy night followed by a sunny afternoon bike ride

At 1 AM, when I finished my tasks and started getting ready for bed, I noticed lightning and heard loud thunder. It felt like the thunderstorm was directly over my city, making so many scary sounds. But the lightning was especially adorable because it flashed across the sky, leaving bright flashes that illuminated everything in the darkness. Honestly, it was really dark since the streetlights were turned off and the sky was covered with dark clouds.

I lay down under the shelter after my 10K bike ride

When I lay down, I could still hear the loud sound of the rain for about half an hour, which made me think about the weather conditions until the next morning. Since I didn't have any special plans, I still wanted the next day to be free of rain and for the sky not to be covered with clouds. Thankfully, those thoughts didn't last long, because by morning everything was calm, and the day turned out to be pretty sunny with a comfortable temperature. Even though the night had been a bit rainy—I could hear the raindrops hitting the roof while I was lying down—the ground was completely dry during my bike ride. Maybe the ground had just dried up by 4 PM since I only went for my bike ride closer to the evening.
