Finally today they shared the final results of the challenge. But it wasn't what I wanted, and my expectations were a bit different. Because they decided to share only general information without clarifying results for each participant. Instead, they shared some blah-blah-blah text about how it was nice and had special feelings. In my opinion, it felt like the hosts didn't take my reports seriously, and during the fifteen days I couldn’t see my name on the results list. Of course I had hopes until the end, but it didn't happen anyway. Still, I didn’t know how many points I reached, and I didn’t have the opportunity to compare them with my colleagues’ points. So today I decided to count it myself and celebrate my 45 points.
Also, a few words about my work, because I got some complaints from my team lead. He explained that I spent a long time on the last two tasks. About one of them I already shared in this post. But I couldn’t agree with him, so I explained all my steps and why I spent a long time, at least in his opinion. Luckily I had reasonable explanations, but what if I didn’t have them? We even had some arguments about those tasks, and as a result I spent 2 hours and 30 minutes dealing with his complaints. Honestly, I have no idea what will happen next.
