Challenge, day 8. An evening bike ride, ending with another stunning sunset fading behind the horizon

I took a much easier route for my bike ride today after yesterday’s little adventure. I wasn’t in the mood to walk the bike in my hands or climb over fallen trees again, so I chose comfort over challenge this time. I just wanted a smooth, enjoyable ride instead of ending up completely exhausted. Of course, I still couldn’t fully escape the randomly scattered trees along the way. And there were still those spider webs hanging between branches waiting for me. But overall, today felt noticeably easier and more relaxed compared to yesterday’s real “forest obstacle course.”

Today, I randomly captured another unusual sunset during my bike ride

Today I felt tired, so I chose a much simpler route without climbs—one that I already knew well and felt comfortable with

On the way, I ran into a group of enduro riders who had stopped on a hill, casually chatting about their concerns. Further along, near the suspension bridge, a group of school kids was searching for the perfect picnic spot—so loud that I could hear them well before I even saw them. Later, as I approached the city, I passed two boys returning from fishing.

They were surprisingly talkative and greeted me first, which honestly caught me off guard—it’s not often someone younger says hello like that. I couldn’t just ignore them, so I asked, “How was your fishing?” One of them confidently said it went really well, but the other admitted they only caught small fish. It was a bit funny, especially since I could already see their nearly empty bucket. I didn’t comment on it, though—I didn’t want to embarrass them and just kept riding.

Challenge, day 8. My bike ride in the evening ended with another awesome sunset behind the horizon

I took a much easier route for bike riding after yesterday's adventures. Because I didn't want to walk with a bike in my hands and climb over fallen trees again. I wanted to ride my bike smoothly and enjoyably instead of feeling exhausted. Of course I still couldn't escape those randomly spread-out trees. But today my ride felt more convenient than a real challenge among the trees with webs hanging between the branches.

During my bike ride I met a group of enduro motorbikes stopped under the hill and talking about their worries. Further, when I reached the suspension bridge, the school guys were trying to find a good place for a picnic. Honestly, they were so loud because I heard their voices farther from the bridge. Later, when I reached the city, I passed two boys coming back from fishing.

About those two boys, I want to remark that they were very talkative. When I reached them, they said hello. Honestly, it was a bit unusual to me. I don't remember what time someone younger than me greeted me. I couldn't just ignore them and responded, "How was your fishing ?". One of them lied and shot, yeah, very good. But another one was honest and said, "We only caught small fish". Honestly, it was a bit funny, because I noticed their light and almost empty bucket, they hadn’t had much luck. Out of my politeness, I didn't comment their bucket and didn't want to put them in an awkward position.
