Today was the twenty-eighth day of Ramadan. My day was pretty busy, and I couldn’t really stick to my plan

The weather these days is actually amazing. It’s around +8 degrees, everything is melting, and the sun was shining during the day. Honestly, it’s already not bad, even though everything is dirty and wet. Sunny days just feel much more comfortable and productive. I’m already tired of winter — all that snow and constant blizzards almost every day. But now everything feels much better.

Even looking out the window gave me some new thoughts, and I started noticing small things. For example, today I saw an old man shoveling snow around his house. I think he was trying to move the snow away to prevent water from getting into his cellar. Or maybe he just wanted it to melt faster. Anyway, I already know about this problem, because some people I know have the same issues every spring.

That chunk of snow is still hanging on the roof. I already thought it would fall off during these warm days, but I was wrong

During the day, I didn’t notice much else. Maybe because I was pretty busy with my work and my freelance project. My freelance project managers kept bothering me the whole day. Of course, I could have ignored them, but that wouldn’t be right. So I had to help them — I gave some консультации (consultations → better: “advice”) and fixed a few bugs during the launch.

I think I did something good for them, but I kind of sacrificed my free time. I planned to read 30 pages of my new book Fluent Forever, but I only managed to read 10. Now I’m at page 60, but my goal was 80. Anyway, I don’t want to dramatize it. Over the next few days, I’ll just need to read more and catch up with my plan.

Today was the twenty-eighth day of Ramadan. My day was pretty busy, and even I couldn't keep my plan.

These days the weather is pretty amazing. The temperature is +8 degrees, everything is melting, and during the day  the sun is looked at from the sky. Honestly, it's already not bad even though everything is dirty and wet. Because spending the sunny day is much more comfortable and productive. I'm already tired from the winter days and how the snow and the blizzard covered my city each possible day.

But now everything is much better, even looking out the window brought me unusual thoughts, and I could notice something new. I saw the old man shovel the snow around the house area. If I understand it, he moved some snow from his house and wanted to avoid the water inside his cellar. Maybe he just wanted to melt the snow much faster. However, I already knew about this trouble, because my relatives and familiar people have the same troubles during the spring.

During the day I didn't notice something else. Maybe it was related to my statement. I was a bit busy with my work process and with my freelance project. Especially my freelance project managers kept bothering me during the whole day. Of course I could just ignore them, but if I did it, it could be a bit wrong. Therefore, I couldn't leave them without attention and some help. As a result, during the launch I consulted and fixed some bugs in their project.

In my opinion, I did something nice for them, but I sacrificed my free time for it. In my plan I wanted to read the next thirty pages of my new book, "Fluent Forever", but I could finish only ten pages. While I reached sixty pages, my plan was about eighty. Honestly, I have a plan to read each day about thirty pages and reread my book multiple times if I want to understand it much better. Well, okay, I don't need to dramatize it. The next days I need to read many more pages and reach my plan.
