Today marks the sixth day of Ramadan. My day was calm and free of worries, even though the weather wasn’t particularly pleasant. The sky was covered with clouds for most of the day, although from time to time the sun managed to break through and shine brightly. Unfortunately, it never lasted long, as the clouds would quickly gather again and hide it from view.

As usual, I am fasting. It is already my sixth consecutive day, and thankfully I haven’t experienced any serious difficulties. I am determined to continue and complete the month without skipping any days. However, fasting is not easy. Spending the entire day without food requires both physical endurance and mental discipline. I try not only to control my hunger but also to manage my thoughts and emotions. In many ways, this makes the experience valuable, because it teaches me self-control, patience, and inner calm.

In the evening, after finishing work, I followed my usual routine. I had iftar and then spent some time on my laptop before going for a walk. When I returned home, I continued watching English videos featuring Darryl Vega. Recently, I discovered his channel, and I find it quite engaging. His videos include casual conversations and spontaneous moments, which make them useful for improving my listening skills.

The videos I used to watch were too clear and easy to understand. Although I could recognize nearly every word and phrase, they didn’t challenge me enough. In contrast, these new videos are much harder to follow without subtitles, and I believe that’s exactly what I need. When something no longer feels challenging, it usually stops contributing to real progress.

Today is the sixth day of Ramadan. My observations about my day

My day was calm, without worries, even though the weather was not bad. During the day the sky was covered with clouds. But sometimes the sun appeared through the clouds and brightly shone. Unfortunately it didn't continue for very long, because the clouds were much stronger, so the sun was covered above the clouds.

I'm also, as usual, keeping fast. It's already my sixth day of fasting, and I don't have any serious issues. So I want to continue it and try to finish without skipping days. But it's not easy, I spent the whole day without food and tried to control thoughts. Fortunately, it's so useful, because I can learn to control my behavior, thoughts and stay calm during the day.

In the evening, after my work, I had the usual things from my regular days. I had an iftar, and after I spent some time in front of my laptop, before my walk. When I came back, I continued watching some English movies about Darryl Vega. These days I've found an interesting channel. His videos have casual conversations and fan moments too, so they can be useful to improve language skills.

However my previous videos annoyed me. Their voices are so clear, even though I can understand and recognize words, phrases. But these videos are much more challenging for me to recognize without subtitles, and I think it's the right track. When you already get used to it and you don't feel challenges during the process, it can't bring improvements.
