Today was the second day of Ramadan, and I observed the fast

I woke up earlier than usual, around 4:10 a.m., before the fast began. However, it didn’t feel very comfortable because I had to rush through my routine. Fortunately, it was easier than the first day. I realized that if I want to manage everything without rushing, I should wake up no later than 4 a.m.

I also need to keep in mind the main rule of Ramadan: each day the fasting time begins slightly earlier than the previous day. For example, if today’s fasting time is 4:48 a.m., tomorrow it will be 4:46 a.m. The same applies to the time when the fast ends. If today it ends at 4:59 p.m., tomorrow it will be 5:01 p.m. This is because the fasting schedule depends on sunrise and sunset, and those times change a little every day.

The central mosque of my city at night looks very beautiful. Only the green lights are on in the minaret, and there are also a few lights shining at the top

After finishing my routine and starting the fast, I couldn’t go back to sleep. I wasn’t sleepy anymore, so I turned on my laptop and watched YouTube. As usual, YouTube recommended my daily show, Good Morning America, and I watched it for about an hour. Time flew so fast that I didn’t even notice how bright it had become outside. The streetlights were still on, and for the first time, I noticed exactly when they turn on. Before, I only knew when they turned off.

The rest of the day was a regular workday. Fortunately, I didn’t have a headache, and the fast didn’t feel too difficult. I completed my tasks at my own pace and felt quite productive. After work, I went for my usual walk around the city center and near our central mosque.

Near the city center, I noticed that the library wall, where Santa had been hanging before, was now empty. It seems the decoration was removed — or maybe the wind blew it away. The wall looks a little sad now. Honestly, I was hoping to see Santa still there in spring, or even in summer.

Today is the second day of Ramadan. I fasted

Today I woke up earlier, around 4:10 am, before the fast began. But it wasn't comfortable enough. I still did my routine in a hurry. Fortunately, it was easier than my first day. So I decided to wake up no later than 4 am if I want to manage all my routine without rushing. Also, I don't need to forget about the main rule. Because each day's fast began earlier than the previous day. If today's fasting time was 4:48 am, tomorrow it will be 4:46 am. About fast ending, also the same rule. If today's ending time was 4:59 pm, tomorrow it will be 5:01 pm. It related a sunrise and sunset time. Because each day the sun goes up and goes down at a different time.

When I finished my routine and started my fasting, I couldn't go to bed immediately. My sleep was gone, and I couldn't fall asleep. Instead, I turned on my laptop and watched YouTube. As usual, YouTube recommended my daily show, "Good Morning America," so I watched it for around one hour and finished. The time flew so fast, even I didn't notice, and the streetlights were turned on. Now, I knew what time the streetlights turned on. Before, I just knew what time they turned off.

My day was like a regular workday, fortunately I didn't have a headache, and the day was not so harsh. I did my tasks at my own pace and felt quite productive. After my work I went for a walk as usual and walked around the city center and around our central mosque. Near the city center, I noticed that library wall, where the Santa was hung up. Unfortunately it was removed, or just the wind blew from that wall. Right now the wall is empty and slightly sad. Honestly, I hoped to see Santa during the spring or even in the summer.
