Today, during my walk, I noticed something unexpected — Santa Claus still hanging on the library wall
The weather was wild. The temperature had dropped to -12 degrees, and the wind was blowing fiercely. Even though -12 doesn’t always sound dramatic on paper, the wind made it feel bitterly cold and almost unbearable. After just twenty minutes outside, I gave up. I simply walked around my neighborhood once and headed back home.
But that short walk wasn’t completely ordinary. There he was — Santa Claus — still hanging on the wall as if the New Year holidays had never ended. It seemed they had forgotten to take him down. I had noticed him before, but I didn’t manage to take a photo. This time, however, I finally decided to capture the moment.
I can’t explain why, but it looked both funny and a little sad at the same time. Santa has been hanging there since the New Year, and now it’s already February eleventh. I wonder if they’ve simply forgotten about him. Will he remain there until summer? Or even worse — until the next New Year? Or perhaps one morning he will suddenly disappear, and the wall will look strangely empty without him If I pass by the library again in the next few days, I know I’ll look at that wall first, secretly hoping to see that forgotten Santa still hanging there.

So my walk didn't continue so long, I just did a circle around my neighborhood and came back. Overall, my walk continued for around twenty minutes, no more. However, I saw something interesting and maybe unusual, Santa Claus.. He was hung on the library wall, and they forgot to put it away. Honestly, I noticed it before, but I wasn't able to take a photo. Fortunately, this time I finally decided to capture the moment.
I think it looks funny and at the same time a bit sad. Because the Santa has been hanging since the New Year holidays, and now it's already February eleven. So I have some doubts about, they already forgot about him and it will hang until summer or even worse, until next New Year holidays. Or maybe one morning Santa Claus will suddenly disappear, and that wall will look strangely empty without him. If I walk around the library the next days, I'll especially look at the wall and hope to see him.
