Today I had dental surgery again, so I want to share a bit of my teeth story

Yesterday I took a day off, and today, during my lunch, I went to Kazan. I had an appointment at a dental clinic for surgery to install dental implants. You probably remember that I previously installed Brazilian dental implants (Riellen) in my upper jaw, under teeth 24 and 25. Honestly, those teeth were covered with crowns, and their condition was not good enough. I realized this when one of the crowns fell out. After that, I had only two options: install dental implants or use dentures. I really didn’t want dentures. I’m still young, and I can’t accept using them at my age. I’m not sure how comfortable they are, but people who use them say it’s okay.

This time, I chose dental implants from South Korea (Osstem) and installed them in my lower jaw, in the places where teeth 35 and 37 used to be. Those teeth were removed back in 2020, and until today those spaces were empty. They didn’t cause me any discomfort, and they weren’t visible, so I postponed the treatment. These two implants cost $2,152.71, or 165,000 Russian rubles, including all the work.

During my drive back to my city, the weather conditions were quite severe. A blizzard covered nearby cities in Tatarstan, possibly even the entire republic. Visibility was very poor, and the road conditions were far from good

Right now, after the surgery, I’m feeling fine. The anesthetic wore off after about four hours. The surgery started at 1 PM and lasted around one hour. As usual, it began with anesthesia. They put a special surgical cap on my head and black sunglasses on my face to protect my eyes. But this surgery was different from the previous one because I didn’t have any teeth there. The procedure started with a sharp scalpel. Fortunately, I was under anesthesia and didn’t feel anything. I could hear the medical staff talking about random topics and trying to pass the time.

During the surgery, I could feel how the surgeon cut my gums, drilled my jaw, and screwed in the dental implants using a ratcheted wrench. At that moment, I recalled my car ratchet wrench that I use to tighten my car battery. The sound was very similar, which I actually found funny.

However, this is not the last dental surgery for me. I still need four more implants: two on the lower right side and two on the upper right side. I think it will cost around $5,000, or about 500,000 Russian rubles. This is not cheap by Russian standards. So I’ve made a simple conclusion from my experience: if I have children in the future, I’ll do my best to take care of their teeth—and I’ll teach them English too.

Today I had a surgery in my mouth again and a bit about my teeth story

Yesterday I took a day off, and today during lunchtime I went to Kazan. There I had an appointment at the dentist's office for surgery to install the dental implants. Probably, you still remember that I installed Brazilian dental implants (Riellen's) on my top jaw, under the teeth 24 and 25. Honestly, these teeth were covered by crowns and the state was not good enough. About it, I realized when the crown fell out. After I had just two options: install dental implants or use dentures. But I really didn't want to use dentures. Because I'm so young, I can't accept it at my age. I don't know it convenient or not, but those people who used it told me it's okay.

Now I chose dental implants from South Korea (Osstem) and installed them on my lower jaw, instead of removing teeth 35 and 37. I removed those teeth in 2020 and until this day those places were empty. Because it didn't bring me uncomfortable feelings and those places weren't visible. These two dental implants cost $2,152.71 or 165,000 Russian rubles for all possible work.

Right now, after surgery, I'm feeling good and the anesthetic is gone after four hours. The surgery started at 1 PM and continued around one hour. As usual surgery started with anesthetic, and they put on my head a special surgery hat and black sunglasses to protect my eyes. But this surgery process was not the same as my previous one. Because I already didn't have my teeth, so surgery started with a sharp scalpel. Fortunately, I was under the anesthetic, and I didn't feel anything. I just heard how they discussed about other topics and tried to spend time fan.

Overall, during the surgery, I felt how the surgeon cut my gums, drilled my jaw and screwed dental implants with a ratcheted wrench. In that moment I recall about my car ratchet wrench, that I used to screw my car battery. Because the sound from that ratchet wrench was very similar to my car tools. It was very fun for me.

However, it's not my last dental implants in my mouth. I need to install four extra implants. Two implants on my right lower side and two on the right top side. I think it will be cost around $5000 or half a million Russian rubles (500 000). This price isn't cheap in Russian standards. Therefore, I made some conclusions from my experience. If I'll have kids in the future, I'll try to keep their teeth and teach them English.

What you did well:
- The story structure is strong: background → decision → surgery → feelings → conclusion.
- You use specific details (prices, tooth numbers, brands, time), which makes the story realistic.
- Your meaning is almost always clear. I never felt lost.
- Vocabulary like anesthetic, crowns, implants, dentures, surgeon — very good level

Main things to improve
Articles (a, the):
- Today I had a surgery → Today I had surgery or Today I had a dental surgery

Prepositions:
- appointment at the dentist's office → ok
- install implants on my jaw → install implants in my jaw

Verb tense & form
- I recall about my car ratchet wrench → I recalled my car ratchet wrench

Some unnatural phrases:
- “I don't know it convenient or not” → not natural
- “tried to spend time fan” → incorrect
