Today I had a big day because I visited Kazan again
My morning started at 6 AM again. I had many tasks to do in Kazan. I already mentioned these tasks in my previous post. When I woke up, I did my usual morning routine, except for breakfast. I needed to get a blood test, and for that I wasn’t allowed to eat, drink, or take any pills. If you take any medication, you must inform them. After my routine, I went to Kazan and reached at 8:40 AM. It was already light outside, but when I left my home it was still dark. The first place I visited was the clinic for my blood test. I chose the private clinic Medel because I had used their services before, so it was familiar to me. I wrote the list of tests below. Everything during the blood test was easy and painless. They took blood from a vein, and I didn’t even feel when the medical staff inserted the needle. Now I need to wait for my results and give them to my dentist’s office. However, there is a small problem: when I asked if they could send the results to my email, they said unfortunately no. So I need to go to Kazan again on Monday after 5 PM to pick up the results in person.
After the blood test, I had about 45 minutes of free time. I decided to walk around the park near the clinic. I walked until 10:10 AM. The weather was a bit cold and windy, but it was dry. The temperature was around –1°C, if I remember correctly. Even though it was slightly uncomfortable, I still enjoyed my walk and didn’t get my sneakers dirty. I saw people walking, some jogging, and even some wild animals and birds going about their routine.
My second place to visit was the dentist’s office. But at first, Google Maps betrayed me. I didn’t understand what happened, because I tried to build a route to the dentist, but I kept getting the same error: “Something went wrong, try again later.” I couldn’t even see building addresses on the map. Fortunately, I knew the approximate location, so I drove there without the map. I drove my car as far as I remembered, then asked a guy for help. He was walking with his dog, and he kindly decided to help me. He opened the map on his phone and explained how to reach the office. Thanks to him, I arrived there at 10:40 AM.
My dentist appointment went well. They cleaned my teeth using modern Swiss technology for 8,000 rubles (around $104). I also wrote about this earlier. Then they applied a special dye, took pictures of my teeth with a camera, and showed me the areas I need to clean better. They also asked me what tools I use for cleaning, how often I brush my teeth, and other questions. I really felt how the Swiss technology “visited” my mouth—it was comfortable. Some parts were a bit sensitive, but it wasn’t painful, and the liquid they used tasted good. Now I plan to buy an electric toothbrush because I currently only use a regular toothbrush from ROCS and an oral irrigator, and it’s not enough.
After that, I went to my barber. I spent around 40 minutes there and got a haircut. Then I wanted to meet my friend, but unfortunately he had already gone home, so we couldn’t meet. I waited about 10–15 minutes and then went to visit my relatives. I spent about an hour there. I couldn’t eat or drink anything because after the cleaning procedure, you need to wait about 1–2 hours. I finally ate after leaving my relatives and did some shopping. I arrived home at 7 PM. While I was driving, I saw snow covering the fields. But since the temperature was already +1°C, the snow will melt soon.
