My day was busy and fast. I visited dentist's office
I got up at 6 AM, and it was still dark outside. As I was getting dressed, I looked out the window and noticed the lights in my neighbors’ homes and the shadows of people hurrying around as they prepared for work. I, however, had different plans, so I headed to Kazan early in the morning. When I passed through Arsk at around 7:15 AM, it was still quite dark, and I eventually reached my final destination at 8:35 AM. Since my appointment was at 9, I had about twenty-five minutes to spare. I went to check the clinic doors because I saw one girl working on a laptop inside and another walking around the rooms, but the door was locked. That’s when I realized they were still getting ready for the workday, so I waited outside. While I was waiting, I saw a young man and a girl go in, and I assumed they were staff, so I kept waiting. But then a woman and her small daughter walked inside, and at that moment I understood everything — I simply needed to press the button on the right side to open the door.
When I entered, the manager, a girl sitting behind a laptop, welcomed me. She showed me where I could hang my coat and invited me to the reception. There, we prepared my documents. She checked my personal information from my passport, and I signed the papers. Then she introduced me to my personal assistant. The assistant explained everything about my consultation in detail and introduced me to the doctor and the doctor’s assistant.
First, the doctor’s assistant and I took a 3D X-ray of my jaw. Then we went back to the doctor, who already had all the images displayed on a big screen. He explained everything about my jaw and showed me the left side, where the bone was slightly smaller than on the right. He said, “I don’t know why, but it’s not a problem. We just need to add 0.5 grams of bone here.” He also explained the implant options.
He gave me three treatment plans for two teeth, each including all the necessary steps:
- $2,064 — South Korean implant (Osstem)
- $2,300 — Brazilian implant (Riellens)
- $3,600 — Swiss implant (Straumann)
Each plan also included a zirconia dioxide crown, and all other treatment steps were the same.
Now I already have more appointments scheduled. The first one is on December 6 — a teeth cleaning using modern technology called AIRFLOW Prophylaxis, which comes from Switzerland. Honestly, I tried to decline it and choose something simpler and cheaper, but they recommended it because it’s better and I won’t need recovery time afterward. My surgery is on December 11, and my gums need to be ready. I also need to take a blood test.
I arrived back from Kazan at 11:30 AM. It was lunchtime, and fortunately, lunch was already ready, so I could eat quickly and start working. My team lead notified me that I needed to work for 2.5 hours. Today, I managed to complete 1.5 hours. I worked without a break until 6:30 PM. I wanted to finish all 2.5 hours, but I completed my task earlier than the required time.
