The rain fell non-stop today, and it really affected my whole routine
This day brought me ridiculously bad weather because the rain fell non-stop all day. The whole sky was covered with dark clouds, and the entire world looked as dark as possible. Because of that, I couldn’t go for a walk, and I spent the first part of my day at home. I couldn’t even do anything useful, because I overslept a bit. When I got up from my bed, it was already around 10 AM. After brushing my teeth and shaving my face, it was almost 11 AM — basically lunchtime. So I just grabbed some cookies with water and went to my laptop to watch my American show.
The second part of my day was a bit more interesting. Even though it was still raining outside, I drove my car and went to my aunt’s house — the same aunt I mentioned before, the one who forced me to do something. There we didn’t do anything special or exciting. First, my relative and I went to pick up an order from the local delivery service. Then we came back and stayed there until 7 PM. During that time, we just talked about everything: travel plans, movies, crazy things, and who could do something crazy to get money for it.
Also, while I was at my home, I bought insurance for my car. I saw the news that road cameras started scanning license plates to check for insurance. If I don’t have insurance, I can get a fine — about $10 for the first time, and $25–$60 for the next times. So I bought insurance for one year for about $50. I’ve already been driving my car for more than two months, from September until mid-November, and during this time I got zero fines.
Next, I need to change my summer tires to winter ones. Right now, I don’t want to change them because my summer tires are very comfortable and convenient. Also, the weather isn’t so cold yet, and I can use my summer tires until December 1. But from December to February or March, I must use winter tires. Without them, it’s really dangerous, and I can get a fine as well. So next time, I will have to change them.
