Today was so cold — I practically froze while walking
I slept until 10 AM because I went to bed very late, around 1 AM. Because yesterday I had a busy day, as I mentioned before. When I woke up, I spent another 30 minutes lying in bed and reading Reddit, so it was already 10:30 AM by the time I got up. After finishing my morning routine, lunch was already ready, so I skipped breakfast and started my day with lunch. For lunch, I had something very similar to manty — I couldn’t remember the name and didn’t take a picture. I always try to photograph my unique meals for my blog, but I always forget. It was something rolled, filled with a mixture of meat, potatoes, and onions inside.
After lunch, I decided to continue updating my blog. I hadn’t even tested it yet, and I also wanted to refactor my rating system code. So, from then until 3 PM, I worked on my blog. I managed to finish everything I had planned, including my old ideas about age restrictions. Now I’m confident that my rating system works more stably and safely. And all my posts and photos are now sorted by age restriction — if the content is 18+, the photos will be blurred, and the posts will have an 18+ flag.
After 3 PM, I went for a walk because I didn’t want to spend the whole day at home, and the weather after lunch was quite nice. The sun even came out, though the temperature wasn’t very pleasant. At first, I wanted to ride my bike, but when I checked the temperature, I gave up on that idea — it was only around 3–5 degrees outside, and I didn’t want to freeze on my bike. So, I decided to just go for a walk instead.
However, while walking, my hands got so cold that I could barely move my fingers. I wasn’t wearing gloves, and honestly, I don’t even know where they are. I think I should find them and use them next time. Even though I was freezing, I continued walking around the forest area near the park. There, I saw two people who seemed to be just walking and enjoying the weather, like me. When I got back home around 5:30 PM, it was already dark, and the temperature had dropped to -1 degree.
My evening was as usual. When I arrived home, dinner was already ready. After that cold walk, I was very happy to see and eat hot, delicious chicken soup — it helped me warm up quickly and got rid of my hunger. I was really starving since I had walked for more than two hours. After dinner, I watched movies in English, listened to music, and read my favorite topics on Reddit. It was a calm and relaxing way to end my weekend.
