My day started early because I was woken up at 6:40 AM, since yesterday we had planned to go to our relatives. They invited us and other relatives to help with their twenty angry geese. Finishing all those geese in one day was not easy because there were quite a lot. Also, those geese were very angry. Once, when I visited my relatives before, those geese tried to catch me and attack me for no reason. Fortunately, they couldn’t catch me, and I managed to escape. Since then, I’ve always kept my distance from them, but today I just watched as one of the geese was boiled and eaten. A few words about what “kaz ömäse” is: It happens in the autumn. It’s a work party, and the main purpose is butchering geese.
I want to be very honest: I didn’t participate in helping. I just drove my mom and aunt there, and then I went back home to do my routine. I arrived at home around 7:45 AM and spent my free time there until 3 PM. I think I spent my free time very successfully because I managed to finish the rating system on my blog. I wasn’t able to do everything I wanted, though. Next time, I plan to refactor my code and test it properly, because today I couldn’t test it normally—I just wanted to share it as much as possible.
After 3 PM, I went to my relatives. By then, everything was ready. All the geese were without feathers and each one looked shiny. I just took a few photos for my blog and went inside the house. There, I met my younger brother, who was, as usual, sitting behind his laptop. When he saw me, he asked me to drive him somewhere because he had ordered an interesting nostalgic game and wanted to pick it up. So we went together in my car and brought the game.
The game was very interesting. I can’t remember the exact name, but the main idea was that it was a bit like an electricity game. A few people had to put their fingers on special spots and press the start button. Then, randomly, someone would get a small electric shock. It wasn’t very strong, but while you waited, it was tense and exciting to think about who would be the “lucky” one to get shocked.
I spent the rest of the evening at my relatives’ house. We ate goose soup, freshly boiled meat, and other dishes. There was also a very hot bathhouse prepared, just the way I like it. We got home around 10:40 PM. It was already late, and it was raining outside.
