I got the broken part of my bicycle, and I have other news
In this post, I wrote about how I broke my bicycle. Yesterday, I received the broken part. I ordered it from AliExpress for $10 because I couldn’t find the same part in local or online shops. The part took 13–14 days to arrive from China. I measured it, and it is 100% identical to the broken one. Soon, I will try to install it on my bicycle and go down that hill again—if the weather is good for cycling.
I actively use Duolingo, and yesterday I completed Section 2 of the “Intermediate English” course. There were 51 units, and I completed one unit each day. If you want to know more about my Duolingo journey, you can read about it here. My second goal is to complete Section 3, which has 36 units. This section is smaller than the previous one, so I think I can finish it more quickly, possibly by November 10.
I also couldn’t make my visa appointment because the Spanish embassy hasn’t published appointments for other cities yet. I have no idea why, and I don’t understand what will happen next. They should publish appointments for the second part of October soon. If they don’t, I will try to get an appointment in Moscow and go there. You can read my previous post about the visa here.
Today, I had a big meeting with all our departments. Our CEO talked about the Russian economy, which is doing badly because the government started making new laws. All these laws have affected our company as well, so we haven’t been able to reach our main financial plan each month. He said that the company needs to save more money for the future.
