Today is my nineteenth day in Da Nang, Vietnam. Yesterday, I texted in English

Hey everybody, how's it going? I'm doing well. How has your morning been so far? Okay, let's go. A few days ago on Reddit, I met a person who wants to learn the Tatar language. This post will be about my conversation and how I texted in English with that guy.

Honestly, I had already texted with other people — it wasn't my first time. Also, I want to say that texting or speaking in another language is very cool and very interesting for me. Because you are speaking in another language, you can understand the other person, and you can respond to them. It also gives me more motivation to learn English.

How did I meet that guy? I joined a topic about Tatarstan on Reddit, and there I saw a post where someone wanted to learn Tatar and asked for resources. I replied to his message saying that I could help him if he wanted. A few days later, he wrote to me directly and invited me to Telegram.

So, we started our conversation on Telegram. We talked between 7 PM and 9 PM about religion because that guy and I are Muslims. We also talked about ourselves — our professions, where we live, and other things — because it was our first conversation and we wanted to know more about each other.

Honestly, I’m happy about this conversation. I could text with another person in English, I could understand him, and I could respond. Actually, I see progress in my English, and I need to keep practicing more and more. I also hope I can help that guy with his Tatar language because Tatar is my native language.
