Today is my sixteenth day in Da Nang, Vietnam — everything is as usual

Today I don’t have any news, and nothing interesting is happening. Yesterday I already wrote about my final plans, but I didn’t describe my day. So today, in this post, I will try to describe my yesterday a little bit.

A few days ago, I downloaded a new movie, Jurassic Park, and yesterday I decided to watch it. I watched the movie in English without subtitles, and I can say it was very challenging for me. At some moments, I couldn’t even recognize the words. The actors’ pronunciation was so fast and hard to understand. However, in other scenes, I could understand the main ideas.

I also practice my English skills in other ways. I read one hundred (100) pages of my book Sherlock Holmes, and I use Duolingo — right now I have a 1,736-day streak. In the evenings, I practice my speaking skills with ChatGPT, and I also found another app for talking. It’s called “Copilot,” and it was made by Microsoft, if I remember correctly. I spent one hour speaking with the AI there and asked it about my English level. ChatGPT said my level is very close to B1 (intermediate), and Copilot said my level is between A2 and B1 (intermediate). If that’s true, I’ll be very glad.
