Yesterday was a very bad day because I felt sick. My head hurt, I had a fever, and I just felt generally unwell. I even thought about using my insurance policy, but I couldn't do it because I fell asleep — and I don’t even remember how. Luckily, today everything is fine and I feel much better. I don't know what that was.
Yesterday I met my roommate. She lives next to my room. She's from France, and her name is Julianna — If I remember correctly. She came here for a vacation, and tomorrow she’s leaving. She's a very pretty girl, she likes talking, and I would say she talks a lot! I’m really glad I met her — she helped me practice my English and told me that my English is not bad and understandable, but I need more practice.
Yesterday after my work day, I went for a walk and visited the Duomo di Milano. I walked around this amazing building, took a few pictures, and just relaxed. I also walked near some historical buildings like the Sforzesco Castle, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and other popular places.
Yesterday was a very hard day for me because I was very tired and spent half of the day on the road. When I arrived in the city, I got off the bus and took the subway (M1) toward my apartment. I arrived at my apartment very quickly, in about 10–15 minutes, because there is a subway station near it.
Today I arrived in Italy, in the city of Milan. The weather is very hot — +30 degrees and a little cloudy. I just couldn’t imagine that the temperature would be so high. And my room doesn’t have air conditioning either.
I never show my food, but today I want to share it with you. I ordered Portuguese codfish cakes with rice, potatoes, and salad. The food was very delicious and smelled tasty. I’ll eat the rest tomorrow because the portion was very big.
Today I left Valencia and went to Porto. In Portugal, I plan to stay for one week. Next week, I can share my happiness about Porto. I really liked Valencia, - I spent nine days there, and during those days I felt very comfortable in that city. The streets, public transport, people, building architecture — everything was very nice. And I definitely want to return there.
Tonight was very quiet — no mosquitoes bothered me, no loud music outside, and nobody was talking. It was a perfect night. My day is as usual: I’m working all day, and only at the end of the day I plan to go outside for a walk. Tomorrow, I will be leaving Valencia.
This night felt very long because I couldn’t fall asleep again. I heard mosquitoes flying around and even getting bitten. I couldn’t even hide under my blanket because it was too hot, and that moment was really annoying, I just didn’t know what to do. I still have no idea how I can fall asleep or where all the mosquitoes went. I finally fell asleep at 3 AM and woke up at 8 AM, so I only slept 5 hours in total.
Last night was especially quiet because I slept deeply and didn’t even hear the rain. But when I woke up and opened the window, I felt the fresh, rainy air on my face. I think this fresh air and pleasant smell gave me more energy for the whole day.
My day started as usual, I woke up, did my morning routine, and had breakfast. But last night was especially loud Spanish teenagers were shouting and talking outside for 1–2 hours. It was very loud, and I couldn’t fall asleep for 2 hours. My plan: today and the next three days I will be working. Recently, I’ve only been able to go for a walk after work.
My third day started with work. Today I woke up early — at 7 AM — because my work started at 8 AM. Valencia uses UTC+2, while my country used UTC+3. For lunch, I didn't order any food. I decided to buy some products from a local store — nuts, apples, bananas, cheese, and other ingredients — and made sandwiches. For dinner, I plan to go to a local cafe where I can try traditional local food
