Today is my third day in Thailand — we went to the market and bought a durian

Yesterday my older brother and I took a motorbike and went to the market to buy a durian fruit and some groceries from 7-Eleven. We took a medium-sized durian, and it cost 99 baht per kilogram. The total price was around 500 baht. The market workers also prepared the fruit for us.

The market staff prepared the durian

I tried durian for the first time in my life. Before I tried this fruit, my friends and relatives told me that it has a bad smell and doesn’t taste good. However, when I tried it, I didn’t feel a bad smell or bad taste. I can say that durian doesn’t smell so bad, the taste is also not bad, and this fruit is very healthy. But I can’t eat too much of it.
