I would choose to relive life from age 6, but this time with all the knowledge I have now

I spent my whole day at home without any opportunity to go outside for a walk or bike ride. The rain continued throughout the day and ruined my outdoor plans. As a result, I missed my daily outdoor activities, which I’ve been keeping consistent every day. But I was especially frustrated about missing my speaking practice during those outdoor activities. Of course, I could practice at home too, but it wasn’t comfortable enough around my family members. Even when I use shadowing, everyone tells me that I’m talking to myself and that it looks a bit freaky.

Still, while I was spending the day at home and reading Reddit, I found some interesting comparisons between the red pill and the blue pill. It’s something that comes from The Matrix, and in this case people were comparing $10 million with going back to age 6 while keeping all your knowledge. It made me think about what I would actually choose if such an impossible offer suddenly appeared in front of me.

The $10 million is a very solid amount of money, and it sounds life-changing because it would instantly solve some problems and provide a lot of freedom. But in my opinion, it could become boring, and it’s possible to lose interest in life when you get so much money without any effort.

However, going back to age 6 with all my knowledge and repeating my life could be much more interesting. During that second try, I could probably earn much more than $10 million. At the same time, it would give me a chance to relive my life and fix the mistakes I made along the way. For me, this option is far more interesting, so I would definitely choose it.
