I had a trip to the Sabinsky district to visit my relatives this weekend
Finally, today was Saturday, so I was able to take a little break from work worries and just relax. Luckily, I didn’t spend the day at home. Instead, I had a trip to my relatives in the Sabinsky district, where we spent approximately three hours. Of course, it wasn’t a whole-day visit because this time of year is quite busy for gardeners. Our relatives had also arrived from the city and were busy with their garden routine. So we didn’t want to take too much of their time or disturb them for too long. But at the same time, we couldn’t reschedule this visit for several reasons, so we decided to visit them today.
When we arrived, it was already 4 PM, and everyone was busy with their routine. Someone was planting potatoes and tomatoes, while an older family member was simply resting on the cot. In my opinion, it was a very enjoyable routine: lying on the cot among the trees under the warm sun and breathing the fresh village air. But it didn’t last long — our visit ended up interrupting both their work and rest. So everyone came over to greet us near the main entrance door.
Next, everything was pretty predictable in terms of conversations around the table. But this trip was a bit special because we didn’t arrive without a reason — the main reason was an anniversary day. Unfortunately, the anniversary day was two weeks ago, and some members of my family who were invited didn’t make it that day. So we decided not to ignore that round anniversary date and brought some special gifts, even though it was a bit late.
From this trip, I want to mention only one thing — the cat. It was so huge, a bit unfriendly, damn smart, and really cute. But when I tried to touch him, he quickly hit my hand with his paws. Luckily, he didn’t use his nails, just letting me know it was a bad idea to touch him at that moment. After that, he just watched me for about fifteen minutes, making sure I wouldn’t try again. Later I learned that the cat was already 16 years old and could be a bit capricious.
