Challenge, day 2. I visited my dentist and also walked around some of Kazan’s famous spots
Finally, after about five months, my crowns were installed — I started this whole process back in December last year. I want to share how it feels to have artificial teeth in my jaw now. Luckily, during normal talking and speaking, I don’t feel any discomfort at all. The crowns even look like my real teeth — maybe even better (okay, that’s just a joke, but still, they really look great). However, at the same time, I do feel a bit of discomfort with the lower crowns when I eat. It feels like I can’t chew completely normally, like something is slightly in the way when I grind food. These sensations mostly appear during meals, and it’s not something terrible, just a bit unpleasant.
In my opinion, there’s only one explanation for this. For about six years, I basically didn’t use the left side of my jaw properly because there were no teeth there, so I got used to avoiding it completely. Maybe it’s just my body adjusting back to normal use. I’ll wait for one or two weeks and see how it goes, and if nothing changes, I’ll definitely consult my dentist.
Right now, I’m actually happy with the result. It feels really good to finally see all my teeth on the left side back in place. But I also realize I need to be more careful from now on — I really don’t want to lose them again. Next time it could end up being dentures, and honestly, I don’t even want to think about that. Ooh, it's so sad.
Challenge, day 2. I visited my dentist's office and walked in Kazan's famous spots
Finally my crowns were installed after five months, I started it last year in December. Now I want to share some feelings about how it is when your jaw has artificial teeth. Fortunately, during my usual statement and during the speaking, I didn't feel anything uncomfortable. Those crowns look like my real teeth, and maybe better :). Yeah, it was just a joke, it can be better than real teeth. However, at the same time I have some uncomfortable feelings at my lower crowns during the meal. Because it's like you can't chew normally, and something bothers the teeth grinding the food. So these feelings appear mostly while eating, and it's the single not terrible issue, but it's a bit unpleasant.
In my opinion, I have only one version of why it happens. During the last six years I didn't use the left side of my jaw to eat normally, and that side was without the teeth, so as a result I didn't eat with that side at all. So it can be a normal process to feel uncomfortable feelings. Anyway, I want to wait one or two weeks and make some decisions, and if everything is the same, I will have consultations with my dentist.
Right now I'm satisfied with the result that I got, and it's so cool to see all my teeth on the left jaw in place. Now I need to be much more careful and not lose these teeth, because next time I don't want to spend so much money, and next time it already can be dentures. Even I don't want to think about it. Ooh, it's so sad.
