My weekend I spent at home, and for the first time this year I went back and re-walked the same route I used last year

After yesterday’s trip to Kazan, I was pretty drained, so my day only really started around 10 AM. Even though I didn’t manage to finish my previous post yesterday, I stuck to my morning routine and made it my first priority to complete and publish it. After that, I was finally free, with no particular plans other than to rest and make the weekend feel productive in a calm way. The weather, however, had a different plan. The day started off sunny, which naturally gave the impression it would stay that way. But it gradually shifted into something much more autumn-like — overcast skies, a drop in temperature, and a slow rain that quietly turned the roads wet. I barely even noticed how quickly the conditions changed, but in the end, it didn’t affect my walk in a negative way at all.

It’s my favorite viewpoint on the hill just outside the city. The last time I was here was during winter, as I mentioned in this post

My walk took me through the forest area I already explored last year, and my main intention was to assess the ground conditions after winter. It was actually quite important for me, since I wanted to understand whether the paths are already suitable for riding or still too rough and unstable. Fortunately, the situation turned out better than expected — the trails were mostly dry, firm, and already comfortable to move on. That gave me a clear signal that it’s time to start preparing my bike and properly kick off the new biking season. Along the way, I also accumulated around 15,000 steps and listened to a two-hour English podcast on YouTube, which made the whole walk not only enjoyable but also genuinely productive.

My weekend I spent at home, and for the first time this year I walked and checked my way where I walked last year

After yesterday's trip to Kazan, I was exhausted, and my day started only at 10 AM. Even though I couldn't finish my previous post yesterday, after my morning routine I had my first task to finish my post and publish it. After I was already free, I didn't have any plans except just to relax and spend my weekend productively. But today I had one cause with the weather. Because the day started sunny, I thought that the whole day would be sunny. Unfortunately it turned out opposite, the day was like an autumn day, and the rain slowly made the roads wet. I couldn't even realize that the weather changed unpredictably, but it didn't ruin my walk.

My walk was around the forest where I already walked last year, and my main goal was to check the ground conditions after the winter. Honestly, it was especially important for me, I wanted to see if the paths were good for riding or still too rough. Luckily, during my walk, I noticed that conditions were already pretty comfortable and the ground completely dry. Now, I'm sure that it's time to start preparing my bike and begin a new biking season. Along the way, while I walked, I reached 15 thousand steps and listened to a 2-hour English podcast from YouTube, which made my walk enjoyable and useful.
