I ruined my morning—I lost all my tabs, history, and settings in my Firefox browser, and it all started after a strange, unsettling dream

Today didn’t feel pleasant from the beginning, even though I woke up on time and the weather was just adorably nice. I had a very strange dream that left me with confusing and hard-to-explain thoughts. I also had a headache, and my head felt like it was surrounded by fog. I think it was because of that dream, since I woke up multiple times during the night, and each time I fell asleep again, the same dream continued. It was ridiculously unusual and creepy, and even after waking up, those thoughts wouldn’t let me relax. I really didn’t want to experience something like that again.

My browser is working again after recovery, so my effort during the day wasn’t in vain. Now everything is back to normal, and I even managed to develop my own backup system using a bash script. Tomorrow I need to share it

But then there was another situation that brought me even more worries after I woke up. It was related to my laptop’s browser, Firefox. I honestly thought something like this wouldn’t happen again, especially in the morning, but it did. A few months ago, I had similar troubles, and back then I managed everything properly and without much stress, at least as far as I remember. This time, however, it felt much worse. My browser decided to play some kind of crazy joke and removed everything—tabs, history, settings, basically all possible things. It was frustrating and honestly a bit shocking to see everything just disappear like that.

It all happened when I started my breakfast and turned on the show “Good Morning America.” Suddenly, something went wrong, and my laptop froze and restarted. At first, I thought the battery had just discharged, so I plugged it in without worrying too much. But everything turned out to be much harder and more chaotic, because I had lost everything and couldn’t recover anything from my browser. I was just staring at an empty browser window, and I couldn’t do anything. Even the buttons didn’t react—everything felt completely frozen, like nothing was alive. I also didn’t have any proper backups, only an old one from a year ago that I couldn’t even find. That’s when it really hit me: everything was gone, and my whole morning routine was completely ruined.

I ruined my morning - I lost my tabs, histories, and settings on my browser, Firefox, and I had a strange dream

Today my morning wasn't pleasant, even when I woke up on time and the weather was just adorably pleasant. However, I had a very strange dream that brought me not understandable and strange thoughts. Still, I had a headache, and my head was surrounded by fog. So I'm thinking it was the results of my dream, because during my sleep I woke up multiple times, and after I still had the same thoughts that wouldn’t let me relax. When I fell asleep, I still continued the same dream, and it was ridiculously unusual and creepy. I really didn't want to feel it again.

But I also have the next situation that brought me many more worries after I woke up. It was related to my laptop's browser, Firefox. I hope everyone already knew about it, and I don't need to explain. Well, it was much more terrible and crazy to think that could happen during the morning and ruin my morning routine. Of course I didn't hope that it could happen again, because a few months ago I already had the same troubles. But that time I managed it properly and without any worries, if I remember it clearly. Unfortunately, this time my browser decided to play a crazy joke and remove all tabs, histories, my settings, and all possible things.

It happened when I started my breakfast and turned on the show "Good Morning America." But something turned up, and my laptop just froze and restarted. Then I noticed that my battery was discharged and thought, well, okay, I need to plug in my laptop. But everything was much harder and crazier because I lost everything, and I couldn't recover something from my browser. I saw an empty browser window on my laptop's screen, and I couldn't do anything. Even the buttons didn't react; everything was frozen without any living things. Also, I didn't make backups; I had only an old backup that I made one year ago, and of course I couldn't find it.
