I’ve been randomly exploring Seoul lately, just wandering around and enjoying these warm, sunny days
Today started a bit rough though. I woke up around 10 AM after more than nine hours of sleep, which honestly feels catastrophically bad for me. I think the time zone shift is still messing with my rhythm—it’s been hitting me harder than I expected and keeps throwing off my sleep schedule. Even after waking up, I didn’t have the energy to actually get out of bed, so I just stayed there scrolling through news on my phone. I knew time was slipping away, but I couldn’t really push myself to move. By the time I finally got up and went through my morning routine, it was already close to 11, and it felt like I had wasted the entire first part of the day at my accommodation.
Luckily, the second half of the day completely turned things around. The weather was so much better than yesterday—around 26 degrees, warm but comfortable—and the sun honestly did wonders for my mood. I spent hours just walking through the streets, no real destination, just enjoying the atmosphere. At some point I made my way to Gwanghwamun Gate, which I had been wanting to see, but I got there a bit too late and it was already closed for visitors. Still, I walked around the area, explored the surroundings, and checked out some of the nearby monuments. Even without going inside, it felt worth it. Moments like that—just walking, feeling the city, and catching the last light of the day—ended up being the best part, and completely changed how the day felt overall.
I started randomly exploring Seoul and just enjoying the sunny, warm days
Today I woke up at 10 AM, and in total I slept more than nine hours. It's just catastrophically bad. I think the main reason why it happened again is that my time zone changed. Its influence on me was a bit negative and ruined my sleep mode. Still, when I got up from the bed, the time was already about 10:30, and I didn't have some energy, so I stayed in the bed looking at some news on the phone. Definitely I realized that the time was going, but I couldn't do anything to get up. As a result, when I finished my morning routine, the time was already 11 AM, and the time notified me that I spent the first part of the day at my accommodations.
Fortunately, my second part of the day was much more positive and successful. Because the weather was pretty much more comfortable than yesterday. The temperature rose to 26 degrees, and during the day the sun made my mood while I randomly walked around the streets and just enjoyed the warm, sunny weather. It was one of the best things of the day that provided positive feelings while I walked around the city and visited a place called Gwanghwamun Gate. Unfortunately I was a bit late; that architectural building had already closed its doors to visitors. So I walked only around the restricted areas and nearby, where some monuments were installed.
