Today is the eleventh day of Ramadan, and it’s also the first day of spring
I noticed some really pleasant feelings while I was out for a walk, breathing in the fresh spring air. The smell was incredible — hard to describe, kind of like fresh-baked bread or maybe a cinnamon bun. That scent seemed to fill the whole street and left only good thoughts in my head. The weather was fairly warm, around +1°C, so everything was starting to melt. The sky was cloudy, and every now and then something fell from above — maybe rain, maybe a mix of snow. Luckily, it wasn’t heavy and didn’t bother me too much. Just a few drops hit my face and even made my jacket a little damp, but I could keep walking and enjoy the first spring day.
Most of the day I spent at home, working on my freelance project. This one’s a bit unusual — I got it in early February but didn’t really have free time then. Now I need to finish it by the first week of March, which is cutting it close. I thought about a Tatar proverb: “If you don’t finish your work on time, it will be covered with snow.” So I focused and managed to make some real progress. I haven’t finished it yet, and some parts aren’t perfect, but I’m confident I can wrap it up in the next few days. The most important thing is that my mood stayed positive.
Today is the eleventh day of Ramadan. It was the first day of spring
Today is also the first day of spring. I noticed some pleasant feelings when I went for a walk and breathed in the fresh spring smell. It was really fresh and even had a pleasant smell. I don't know how I can describe that smell, it was a mix of fresh baked bread or just like a cinnabon smell. So that smell crowded that street where I walked and left only pleasant thoughts. Also, the weather was quite warm, around +1 degree, so everything is melting. But the sky was covered with clouds, and from time to time something understandable started falling down. It was like rain or maybe a mix of snow. Fortunately it wasn't heavy and didn't bring me uncomfortable feelings so much. It just hit directly in my face, and even my jacket wasn't absolutely dry. So, I was able to continue my walk and enjoy the first day of spring.
During the day I just spent some time at home and did my freelance project. This project was a bit unusual, because I received it in the first days of february and during the february I couldn't find some free time. Now I need to finish it the first week of march and it's not good enough. In this situation I recall one Tatar proverb: "If you don't finish your work on time, then it will be covered with snow". So I tried to focus on it and finish as much as possible, and finally I have some real progress. But I still didn't finish it, and some results are not perfect enough. Despite this, I believe that I can finish it in the next few days, and it's most important that I have a positive mood.
