Today is the fourth day of Ramadan. I spent most of my day at home and later visited my aunt
I stayed indoors for the majority of the day, and only went out for a short walk of about 30 minutes. The walk wasn’t very productive—I couldn’t visit all my usual spots. The wind was bitterly cold, and the sidewalks hadn’t been properly cleared. I didn’t want to trudge through the snow, and as usual, the wind froze my face. These conditions made walking around the city a challenge, so I stuck to the city center and returned home quickly. My usual park has been covered in snow since late January, and no one seems willing to clear it. Now, I can only reach it by car or by walking along the main road—which I prefer to avoid. I’ll just wait for spring.
In the evening, around 5 pm, I finished my tasks and walked to my aunt’s house. Fortunately, it wasn’t far, so I could go on foot. I put on my spring jacket, grabbed my thermos mug, and set off. Despite wearing warm clothes, the temperature—around -12°C—felt closer to -20°C with the wind chill. I walked briskly and finally stepped inside her house. The warm air and the delicious aroma of food instantly enveloped me, and I felt comforted. My aunt was already in the kitchen preparing the main meal.
She had invited us for iftar, so she had set up a small table, filled with fresh dishes and fruits. Although the table was modest in size, it felt cozy and inviting. We spent the time talking, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. I didn’t rush to leave afterward, preferring to linger and savor the warmth and hospitality a little longer.
Today is the fourth day of Ramadan. I spent my day at home and visited my aunt
This day I spent the whole day at home, and only for a short time, around 30 minutes, I went for a walk. My walk was not productive, I couldn't visit all my usual places. Because the wind was extremely cold and the sidewalks weren't shoveled properly. I just didn't want to walk through the snow, and of course the wind froze my face as usual. These conditions played the main roles, so I preferred to walk around the city center and came back. Also, my way to park has been snowed in since the last days of January, and nobody wants to clean it. Now I can visit my park only by car or by walking through the main road. Of course I'll not do it, better just wait until spring.
In the evening around 5 pm, I finished my tasks and walked to my aunt's place. Fortunately, her place is not so far, and I could reach it by walking. I just put on my spring jacket, took my thermo mug in my hand, and went ahead. While I walk in the cold, let me know, even though the temperature was around -12 degrees, it felt like -20. So I quickly walked and came inside the home. As soon as I stepped inside, I smelled delicious food smells around the house, and it didn't give me peace of mind. The warmth of the house wrapped me and warmed me. In that time my aunt already was in the kitchen preparing the main meal.
The main reason why she invited us was for iftar, and for that reason she prepared a small table. The table was crowded only with fresh meals and fruits. Even though the table was small, it was a cozy iftar, where we talked about anything else and just spent the time having fun. Afterward, I still didn't rush to leave and spent some time there.
